It has already been established that there are characters who are stronger than Ran. Makoto definitely is and Akai is strongly implied to be as well. She was more or less evenly matched with Irish.
I can see her fighting it out with Chianti, Korn, maybe even Belmot, but Gin is what amounts to the main Antagonist and what's more Akai's sworn enemy, so if Conan doesn't get to take him down personally, Akai will.

I kind of think Ran, but denfinatly not Kazuha. Is anything, the most she'll do it try to get Heiji to not go.

I don't think Conan would let her be kidnapped. I think maybe the Final War will start by him leaving to go and face it and telling her to stay behind in which she'll argue until Heiji steps in. After this I think the whole thing I presented earlier will take place. I don't think she'll have much of a chance to be kidnapped. XD

Maybe Conan will think that that is too easy and would look deeper into it. And well, spending his whole life trying to find evidence of that hit and run accident actually being murder.
