I think she'd do some kind of social work, her character likes to help others with those kind of problems (and I'm struggling to come up with something else ).

I remember reading a long time ago a fanfic where Ran became a lawyer like her mom. Although I love the thought of Ran doing attorney work and being actually eligible in helping out Shinichi with his cases, I can't exactly imagine Ran as a lawyer in Gosho Aoyama's world. Anyhow I do believe, however, that she could be a teacher or a housewife.

I'm going for a housewife who goes out and does things every so often like visiting a karate class and giving pointers. I can see Ran doing that or the karate class period.

What a insult! >:D Ran will not cry in the middle of a imbestigation in the court if she's going to be a lawyer. Yeah,she might me too crying baby,but -- crying in the court?! WTF! Using that weak side of her is lil bit insulting,or insulting. You know,she knows what she is doing if she become like that someday and she's not a crying baby the whole time huh?! She only cries when she misses Shinichi,feeling deceive,or feeling unfairness something like that!

Anyways,I read fanfic also that she will become lawyer someday or teach,but I like the better if she's a housewife..of Shinichi ofcourse (or I think she also wants to be karate instructor,fit in her chara,but the income is not that much and,this not suitable for her)

I could actually see her being a stage actress- she did get the lead role in the school play, and I can imagine Yukiko being more than happy to give advice XD

Ah Ran~ she can go so many directions.  I'm just going to go to the top of my head....


Doctor -  Well she's very very hard working and likes caring for people.  She also seen enough violent death to permanently traumatize any normal human being.  I can see her doing this.


Nurse -  Same reasoning as doctor though I can see her being a nurse too.  Reading stories to kids, changing bandages, drawing blood, lifting heavy patients, forcing uncooperative patients to hold still all by herself...being a nurse is very taxing work ya know?

High school history or karate teacher-  I pity all the junior delinquents that go to her school..../shudders in fear. 

Ran:  Ano...Endo-kun, w-where are you going?  Are you going to skip my class ;_;?
Delinquent kid:  Shut up!  You're so annoying you stupid bit-
Ran:  *punches him in the stomach*
Delinquent kid: -doubles over in pain-
Ran:  Now now Endo-kun it's not nice to swear in school ^_^.  Now...why don't you go rest in the office before *death voice* joining us in class?  I would be very...unhappy if you don't join us today.

Ran-sensei will probably look very sweet, kind, and innocent looking. 

Then she'll rule over the school district's delinquents with an iron fist. 


Self defense/karate teacher-  I can imagine her teaching self defense to Ayumi and Ai <3.

Ran:  Now class, this is how you protect yourself against a criminal with a knife. 
Ayumi:  Oooooo
Shinichi:  Ran!  Let go!  My arm...going to...break!!

Ran:  *clears throat*  Okay class, today we're going to learn how to protect stupid detectives who rush head first in to danger without back up or plan.
Shinichi:  Oi!


Bodyguard:  For Sonoko probably.  Will probably involve a lot of Sonoko pointing at someone she thinks is a bad guy and Ran kicking them in the face.

Sonoko:  Good job Ran!  *gives cookie*
Ran:  YAY cookie! 
Makoto:  Umm....I think that was the president of company M you were suppose to meet Sonoko-san....

Lawyer - Like Eri she'll probably be very unsure of herself at first, always thinking "Ahh...I'm going to lose".  But like Eri I can see her getting the hang of it <3.  She has a strong sense of justice so she's not doing this for the money.  I can see her being a lawyer that gives her all into helping her client and digs for the truth because she wants to prove that her client is right. 

Artist - She loves to appreciate art...and loves to force people to appreciate art with her.  (She's pretty decent at all the art stuff she does too, except knitting xD)

Reporter/World Traveller - If Shinichi never "returns" she'll probably be this.  She'll stalk the hell out of him, no matter where he is and dig him out.
