Do you think the mysteries ever "cheat"?

After reading what that article mentioned on DC, did you ever think there were a few cases that were "unfair" (IE, even with the presented clues, it's impossible to determine the answer before the reveal)?

I can't personally think of a case right now, but, being a viewer/reader who knows no Japanese whatsoever, I'm sure most of us are clueless on cases involving elaborate wordplay.

The Conan Edogawa Kidnapping Case may count, since it was pretty much impossible to realize they were his parents, but that may be a stretch.

This happens in DC like ALL THE TIME - Conan would never have figured anything out if it weren't for something someone said randomly, or some random occurrence, or Kogorou et al. buying time for him.

@Abs: You never cease to amaze me. You've just summarized the role of basically all the other characters in DC in merely a few lines.

How do you do it?

Yeaaaah, as we've discussed a few times, the Conan cases do tend to break the accepted "Golden Age" rules regularly. I don't really have a problem with it as Conan has its own rules it plays by and it works, so... hey!
