Okiya Subaru was a boss like usual, awesome expression and excellent screen time.  


I also liked Ai's "No Way".  Don't know why exactly she would refuse if she's really that scared, probably out of a sense of pride and didn't want to be embarrassed.  However, if she did move in, having her as a 'regular' with Kogorou and Ran would be pretty shweet.

Also, DBs once again irritating me, talkin smack about how Chiba could never get the girl -.-

Hm... It's a lot better than comments had lead me to believe. Chiba got a lot of decent character development, and it was overall far better and less ridiculous than some other love stories (Agasa).

It wasn't spectacular though.

This was actually one of the first cases I'd read from recent manga.  It seemed like, because they took two chapters into one episode, there was a lot less dilly-dallying, and Conan was able to get to the heart of the matter at a sensible pace.

Who was it they had voice Miike?  She sounds vaguely familiar, but I can't quite place her.

I thought this would be horrible, but it actually wasn't that bad. I think the fast pace of this episode saved it, it's always good to have an episode where they don't stretch the manga material to a ridiculous extent  (e.g : London Arc or some of the most recent cases where we get to see the "confession" again and again).

But in the manga it seemed fast-paced too.  So, the series is finally up to this episode.  Interesting.  I haven't seen it yet myself.

I actually liked the episode, and I'm happy to see a new character. I'm interested to see how Chiba will find out about her. However, I find one thing odd. Usually when a police officer writes a ticket to someone, don't they write who wrote the ticket? Like, the officer usually signs the ticket to keep a record.... so when she gave Chiba the ticket, shouldn't he have  noticed her name? I'm not sure if it's different in Japan..

Who was Chiba involved with that ended up being a criminal? Besides his roommate. :V One person doesn't count.
