Kidnapping Gosho!

What's wrong with throwing in a random homicidal maniac (other than Gin)?  It would add some interest to an otherwise stale plot.  I mean, EVERY culprit has some good reason for offing the victim.  And it's so predictable that I can usually guess 1. who the victim will be and 2. who the culprit is within the first five minutes or so.

When I said most of the ideas are horrible, I didn't mean your idea or others that appeared so far in this thread (only more MK cases and less childhood love stories are bad in my opinion). I was referring to millions of ideas that I read in other threads that will surely soon appear here as well, like for example Conan dying, Haibara getting together with him or Conan allying himself with Kaito Kid.

I suppose the way you said it was ambiguous to that point, but eh.  I understand being content with the way things are being written, and I don't want to suggest that I could write it better than Gosho by any means, but change is good sometimes.

I can't help it. You just can't imagine how much I hate that Kaito Kid scumbag. I swear, I would GLADLY watch him being roasted alive or being SLOWLY cut to pieces alive (I know, of course, that unfortunately it will never happen). Kaito Lady's hatred towards me is NOTHING compared to what I feel towards Kaito Kid. Sometimes I am myself surprised how can I hate a fictional character so much. You will surely think I am crazy or extremely bloodthirsty, but I don't care. In all the fiction (books, manga, cartoons, movies), there is no character I would so gladly see die as Kaito Kid.
But, to make it clear, I am not so obsessed with him as you may think. It's only when I am discussing Detective Conan. When I am not on this forum, I rarely think about him at all.
