btw.. ranma 1/2 is not a children's show..

My understanding is that in Japan it was considered a children's/young teen show.  It definitely is ecchi compared to North American standards, but not so much when compared to Japanese standards.  Crayon Shin-chan is much worse, and is still watched by kids all over Japan.

You know, when I first started watching DC, I was eleven and there were some pretty gruesome cases there that gave me nightmares. One of those is the bandaged mummy case and the other one is that library murder. Oh and that samurai case where the drawers were rearranged!

That PG warning before the show starts really needs to be there.

In France too it was oriented toward kids, though there where some censored scenes...however, they still showed girl Ranma's boobs
