Normally, when people watch cartoons or anime, they don't consider the little things, but with DC, it's important to consider all facts and details portrayed. The color and texture of the blood is important. If it's dark, it means that it has dried. If it's red and lustrous, then the murder happened recently, you know? Time of death can be roughly calculated upon first sight.
If a guy slits his wrists and dumps them in a bathtub, I want to see red/pink water. That way, I'd know the guy is still pumping blood and not asphalt or soot.

Whoa I kinda didn't recognize it there for a second.

Clearly, an overwhelming majority believes Kaito prefers M&Ms over Skittles.
Which, I mean, duh. No contest.

I think the last kids show I saw that showed normal colored blood was Digimon of all things... DC has been around far longer. It's just plain silly for them to make such a change now. I mean most of the people who watch it are adults now anyway. >_>

I can't actually remember if this is the first time the gray blood's been used (I tend to forget due to all the bloody anime and shows I've watched) but the recent episode it was used it was manga based.
