They tried to make the buttler too suspicious and it was pretty obvious the girl had ben switched so... it was pretty easy to guess this time. Other times they've completely fooled me but my knowledge of TV series helps XP they tend to give away stuff to make it easier for the audience to understand the situation or make a point across like when in old cartoons you always knew what object the protagonist was to take because it was better drawn/defined and the colour was brighter.

My only problem with 7 is that

the bag switching that happened at the "blind spot" would be completely dependent on how fast everyone would be running (what if one of the others ran too fast or too slow?). Shinichi should have explained further how the sister ensured that she would indeed be left alone at that blind spot.

Also, am I the only who noticed that Takagi was missing in the scene when they tied the bag to the floating device and at the park?  It wasn't explained why he was left behind or where he went (a really long bathroom break?) that I thought it was incorporated into the story somehow like Shinichi asked him to be left behind to look for more clues or look around the building.. but no he just suddenly reappears for the final scene.

Good thing : Shinichi and Heiji do their "The culprit is you" together. Ran and Kazuha kick the culprit (?) together

Bad thing : Ok, that will mess up the whole story of DC. Shinichi supposed to meet Heiji after became Conan. Ran supposed to meet Kazuha in Osaka visits. but well, I just pretend this LA is on different universe . Hope Kid will make an appearance

Ran irritated me in this episode. Even if it was a molester, that was overly harsh. Surprising that "Barou" got translated into "That's dangerous" though.

Still...the Karate form looked pretty good in this episode. Quite convincing punches and kicks.

We can definitely expect some Akido from Kazuha next episode though.

Surprising interaction between Sato and Shinichi in this episode... I wonder how it would've gone down if Takagi was around then. XD

Ever since I started watching the new drama, I've actually been looking forward to the new episodes. Even though they aren't canon in any way. So I guess that means it's good. (better than the special this past April, anyways)
