I miss your captions so much Sonoci. It slowed down a little without you here. I have one from episode 665.

Takagi recently developed a weird case where he steals cute objects & names them.

Sorry I spent the last week doing nothing but watching Ranma 1/2. It's hard switching between shows.

Policeman?:  Wh-why would that automatically make me out as Kid?
Takagi:  Because I heard from Sato who heard from Yumi who heard from Sonoko who heard from Ran that you did the same thing to Ran in The Lost Ship in the Sky!
Policeman?:  ..... *thinking* Wow, I don't think even Mouri-san could make a hack deduction like that. And maybe I should expand my targets beyond tomboyish women with brown hair.

Ran (offscreen):  AH! Conan-kun, look-
Conan:  Wait, let me guess. It's one of the many dead bodies we find, right? Or if not that, maybe it's something deadly bound to cause another dead body but never permanently harm one of the main characters like us, right?
Ran:  Uh.....
Conan:  I thought so. God, why can't Gosho just be original and write something new and exciting? Like maybe another BO plot that ends with none of the protagonists being killed or even being handicapped for the remainder of the show?
Ran:  Conan-kun...
Conan:  Wait, that's no good. Or how about one of the main characters actually being the murder victim in a case? That's actually good...
Ran:  Hold on...
Conan:  ...but it won't happen. OH, I've got it. A major protagonist IS the murderer, by choice or not. Yes! That's the perfec-
Ran:  CONAN-KUN!! There's a fire right behind you that you caused, and someone's burning inside!!!

Conan went to Dr. Araide to have him examine his tongue. However, Dr. Araide said that Conan's tongue' problem is so serious that he needs to undergo a surgery. Due to non-availability of a human tongue, Dr. Araide used a squid's tentacle instead. After the surgery, Dr. Araide disappeared without a trace, only for Conan to find out that the real Dr. Araide was overseas, and the Dr. Araide that operated on him was actually Vermouth in disguise.
