Detective Conan 603 (Seance Double Locked Room Case (part 1)

First of all THAT DANCING! You wanna kill all fun and drama from this series (or the song for that matter)? Just add that terrible dancing. YOU ARE NOT A CONAN CHARACTER AND STOP ACTING LIKE YOU ARE B'z OR SOMETHING.  :(



That being said, I honestly didn't have a problem with the case so far. Granted a lot of the 3 part cases become really boring in the 2nd part so who knows? But it did have a good story all around and everything worked, even though the characters' roles in the story seem fairly predictable, it works. And I didn't even have to look to non-case stuff to enjoy it. Which makes it better than every AO in the past 100 episodes, at least (although personally I prefer a couple of the comedic ones recently).

Number of songs from 2007 soundtrack: 5 (I like how this number has gone up like with the quality of the last 4-5 episodes)

I certainly enjoyed it. The second part may be bearable this time around (I suspect it will be, anyway) just because it has another case in it.

A weird episode (that Kani guy is just annoying as hell), but the best AO in a very very long time IMO. I hope the second part is as good as the first, we can only hope...

Anyway, I'd rather have a crappy opening but good episodes than a great opening but lame episodes.

I just watched it and found it really interesting. I love creepy DC episodes!

Poor guy that wanted to trick the group! He did his best with all those tricks and the remote but then this Conan shows up and ruins his party .. 

and yeah, that psycho Kira-fan is annoying .. (hope he dies. noo, that's mean!)

and the opening is just funny and lame, because there's no Heiji in it <_< I hope there'll at least be some new Kid episodes, since he's one of the few to be shown in the op

We've never had a maniac otaku in DC before (at least I don't recall any -- Sarukawa Hisami from the Rooster Fair was a gamer kind of otaku, but not a maniac), so I'd say he's one of the most successful and prominent character I've ever seen.
So far at least 500 AO-only characters have appeared in DC, and most of them give you a deja vu more or less. Kani doesn't. He's annoying and impressive at the same time.

Then Yatsukawa and Kani are not the culprit since Conan and Co. know Yatsukawa just a few episodes ago, Kani is the one who is still happy even though someone is dead, that type of person doesn't look like culprit at all just like Jodie and Akai reacts like BO member but they are not eventually.

I definitely agree about the dancer in the OP. Yeah, she's cool an all but WTH, you are not only not important to the series you're not even IN the series, so you should NOT be part of the opening! One thing to have actual CHARACTERS run past a sign advertising the singer and the song ("Ichibyo Goto Ni") but quite another to have the singer animated and taking up half the OP....

Also, yes, more Magic Kaitou specials, please.

Yeah, Kani-san is VERY creepy....and I think that shrinking-violet girl who woke them up knows more than she's letting on....

I think this has good potential to be one of the better AO series out there.  I have my fingers crossed.  And, if my guess about what's going on is right, the second chapter should be quite interesting.
