I've had a Nintendo Wii system for about 8 months now and I am still looking for some decent games. Whats your opinions on some of the games currently released or soon to be releasing? The games I found worth the price were Super Smash Brothers BRAWL, LoZ : Twilight Princess. Mario Kart's never really seemed like much of a "skills" game as it is chance nowadays from my view so I would not put that as a worthwhile game for gamers looking for a challenge.

Whats your guy's views on the Wii's gaming Selections :D?

  If you lile turn based strategy games u should try Fire Emblem: Path of Radience and Fire Emblem: radiant dawn.  Fire Emblem games are one of mav series, they just take FOREVER to come out with new ones.  Oh and Path of R is a gamecube game just fyi.

Super Mario Galaxy is a great game, and a more mature game I would recommend would be Resident Evil 4(I would recommend Umbrella Chronicles, but you need the zapper thing along with the game).

Another idea would be to go to Europe in a few months and buy the Detecive Conan game that should be out in September, but that seems a bit much to do

In about 15 days or so, you can play the english version of the Detective Conan game.

"The original Japanese manga voices are available."  , didn't know the manga had voices.  But if this is with English subs (as it obviously will be), then I am as happy about this as I was when xbox released the Japanese voice pack for the naruto game.

Holy shit.  I didn't think that had any chance of coming out in America.  However, I just checked Gamefaqs and it has it listed as 12/31 (a Wednesday, so that must be a placeholder date).  It doesn't have a page on gamestop yet either.

This leads me to believe that it was announced, but was likely stated as Q4 2008.  Either way, by the end of the year it should be out.  Despite lackluster reviews, I can't wait (Digimon World Championship got lackluster reviews too, but it's just a different sort of game and I like it).  VivaLaConan!

I checked gamespot and it said the distributor of the game was EA Germany.  Since it was different from what the other site said, I checked it out.

umm, sorry to ask, but what does Q4 2008 mean? Does it mean like it is coming out in some unknown date, or something else?

Because according to what Gamespot and GameFAQS says, it is coming out on 12/31, but that can't be, since thats New Year's Eve, and games are supposed to be released in time for the holiday season, not far past it.

Then again i am a supporter of old game systems or modern computers..... I don't like wii, games were invented to: In an interview, Bushnell said of the game: "You had to read the instructions before you could play, people didn't want to read instructions. To be successful, I had to come up with a game people already knew how to play; something so simple that any drunk in any bar could play. How many drunks do you see playing wii? well lets not count my dorm.... But none the less, give me a controler and a chair, stand i think not silly game! I tell you input! not the other way around!

Q4 means fourth quarter.  Q4 2008 means sometime in the last 3 months of 2008: October, November, December.  Some markets have years which start in a different month than January so their Q1 would cover the moment that their year started till 3 months or so later (90 days occasionally).
