And being in a few crossover episodes doesn't make you from the same series, it's like having Sentai Rangers get together.

Only Haibara may have feelings for Conan, but Conan doesn't
He first only view her as a poison creator. In my opinion, I think Haibara had already given up on Shinichi... it's quite obvious. No, no... IT IS really obvious. Instead of trying to break his relationship with Ran, she is fixing it. That means it doesn't matter anymore to her to have Shinichi as her boyfriend or whatever...

And some people say (over there in DCW),

Person 1: i don't like aicon simply because it would mean they will both remain kids, shinshi would be better but that will probably never happen. Therefore Shinran is the best because they love each other and Shinichi will return to his old body.

Person 2: I think Ai secretly likes Conan, but it can't count as love because she doesn't like him enough for it to count as that if you know what I'm saying. Shinichi doesn't have feelings for any girls other than Ran; for Ai, I think he sees her as a sister, somebody who is trapped in the same fate as him, but not really meant for each other.
Well, the only thing that links them is that they got shrunk. Their pasts, and their futures, are entirely different. Shinichi is in love with the girl he likes, before and after he was shrunk, and is clinging to the past as hard as he can to make sure it won't disappear. Ai would do anything to forget her past, let go of everything, even her sister, and just live a new life as Haibara Ai. She likes being Haibara. Shinichi hates being Conan. See, complete opposites. (I could explain better, but I'm too lazy to do it right now.) One of the 100 reasons why I don't like AiCon or ShinShiho.

AiCon doesn't mean that they can't go into ShihoShin, again the idea of AiCon is very BO related and you could even use that a conflict overall leading to ShiShin, I doubt it would be hard and that's a very shallow reason.

Again, just because she has a liking of being Ai that doesn't mean she wouldn't understand the use of being ignorant to her past, she could should be excepting of what she actualy is. The onlY real reason to not do it is a specific BO member gets ay and she still has to stay Ai but that would be cheap, a stretch, and just an excuse to keep Ai Ai. Plus, yes Conan hasn't really realized what Ai thinks of him, That doesn't mean that he has nothing. and his wording of HinRn sounded like and insult ooc, he made it sound like it's never changed.

Imo, when you can say that ShinRan can change and AiCon can happen after conan changes and finds out Ai loves him and starts to love her too etc. Then you can also say it could happen that Haibara and Hakuba meet each other in the future and that they fall in love each other

There probably would be change after that or more them having heavy mistrust or at the very least be involving. And yay, you could say that Hak and Ai would meet and fall in love (over their almost blondeness), you could also say Ai goes for several people. Also, again it sounds like something that just happens to happen and I'm not sure what you were trying to add.

Well, characters changing (even a lot) seems a bit more reasonable then one character meeting and being with each other while one has only showed up a few times on special detective gathering episodes.

And also the point of relevance since they would have to meet after Ai being an adult again so the end probably came and it would only serve to add another romance "subplot" (and another Miyano x [Asian]westerner) and have a racist undertone. (note: I mostly mentioned this to show there are other things above that one point before.)

Saguru has no pair, Haibara has no pair...  the possibility for them to pair up I would say 88% <3
