Why would that bill and this opening have any connection ? Besides,  the law doesn't have any effect until april.

I did not mean a direct connection.
I meant that perhaps that the lack of motivation the animator had while making that opening was not caused that rule. It does not seem to me like they put any effort to it, after all.

It's just that a show that has 30 openings and 37 endings (ridiculous numbers when you think about it) can not avoid being extremely commercial. The fact that they change way too often perhaps does not give the animators neither the time nor the motivation to do something really worth watching. After all why bother doing something good when it costs more and when it's going to be replaced a month or two after ?

Well, Detective Conan has a huge collection of opening and endings. So, I agree with you that it could already be called 'ridiculous'. It is just that usually Japanese people took a lot pride and effort in their works, the new generation not that much, but still. This is the same in other countries too, but not in cartoon shows or Anime.
Even if it was to be replaced after one or two months... Is that not a little bit too much?

Apologies for not equating "new" to "good" as you so often do (having standards is a crime in some circles, I know). Not going to go into how your typos are incredibly ironic (though I suspect they are not typos in some cases) other than to say some are... easily pleased.

Hopefully next time you get a full dancing OP--may as well not even use Conan at all.

I could have lived without BO, but they could have at least added the police, Ai and the detective boys as they appear quite more often.

I think the only good point in the opening is the part where Ran cries and then  we switch to star-shooting.

The other things, well, never seen worse before. And that shameless commercial... When Mai Kuraki was shown earlier, it was okay, since she sang so many DC songs, she is like the member of the Dc group, but these Caos girls...
And I could go on.

I don't think this op will last long. I think as I said before it's just to go along with the Vday theme. It'll most likely mean that the vday case will play in Feb.

I wonder if they're going to change the dancing animation sequence later on? Hopefully show the rest of the characters instead of that horrible... though I liked how they showed the logo, with all those shinies and sparkles

The joke in my post was that, since the dancing this time didn't even involve Conan (unlike Koi wa), they may as well just do another full dancing OP and not even include Conan in it at all.
