You guys do remember how much off a spotlight hog Shinichi was, right? XD. With how he always got fan mail and loved it? I think he likes being in the spotlight again as Conan, although there’s probably a bit more privacy involved considering Conan’s age. So he's probably thinking along the lines of: "They think I'm a child so they won't bother me."

Yes BUT It was confirmed by Hairaba The BO's "Traitor". It is very possible that his 'Death' is no longer confirmed. This would be because of Hairbara current BO status. Also Vermount Status I think has changed. Gin kinda suggested He does not completely believe her, but for now will let it go.

Also some one ask why Conan lets his face in the news. Well
1) I do not believe that a release form is needed always. Reporters can to a point report news without them
2) It would bring up unwanted questions if he did hide. The reporters might think there was a story on why he is hiding, and start asking the right questions. By not hiding, Conan avoids that

But the last point is also true for Hairbara. While the reporters think she is hiding because she is shy, she will be ok. Lets hope that thinking never changes since if it does...

As careful as the BO is while maybe not the top priority, is should be on their list. The BO torched the building where she worked.
I do not think they would take a chance that she turned traitor because of her sister dead at their hands. They would have not good way to know when this happened. After all her sister and the Spy Akai knew each other. They might go back to that point and that would be before Shinichi was 'killed'. The Bo does not take foolish chances. And they would never assume anything. If they did, then they would not check of the drug deaths. They would assume they were dead. So as I see it the BO would not assume her treason started with her sisters' death but might go way back and check everything she said. Because they do not want to assume her treason started then some if not all her work would be discredited.
