Uhh... during the "Blue Spark of Hate" case that is exactly what she did at the end.
She didn't have to enter but she did so on her own free will (with a bit of Conan's advice how to open the door) and she seemed to enjoy herself while playing with her friends.
Haibara is not as cold as you might think and doesn't work on the antidote all the time.

Of course she also works on an antidote (among other things).
Which makes me wonder HOW she works on it. I mean, what does she do? I she just running computer simulations with... uhh... no idea with what if, she can't remember the structure of APTX or its targets. Or is she taking samples (cells) from herself and hopes the addition of random substances would lead to unique reactions that might point out a cure? Considering that she has been making some prototypes herself there must be a complex chemical laboratory in Agasas basement. But why did we never see it?

Well, considering all these thing there shouldn't be much she could do. (Especially alone and without proper equipment)

Maybe he closed his eyes at that moment or Ai was strong enough to put it on herself, who knows, we´ve only speculations for that time.

Conan had to have seen ai in all her glory.  She fell down like chimney, took like 6 shots, transformed TWICE, i'm surprised she didn't die from that encounter.  There's no way she would have the strength to even do anything (thus why Conan had to give her a piggyback ride).  Thus conan probably dressed her.
