I don't think Gosho is some kind of japanese Uncle Scrooge. It's true that there is a lot of money being made with DC, but it involves many people other than the author.

Remember that a mangaka like Gosho is probably paid around 15 000 yen a page, that's about 960 000 yen or 12 505 dollars a month (4 chapters of 16 pages), he also has to pay his assistants.

Most of the money probably comes from the movies and the merchandising anyway. And the manga doesn't have to keep going for that to work (ex : Doraemon, Shin-chan).

You stare at a blank page, daydreaming and giggling slightly until one of your ideas sounds sane enough to write. If none of them do, write it anyway and call it crackfic.

I'll post something not KaiShin when I write something not KaiShin. Right now, it doesn't really matter because all I'm writing is Pokemon and a little work from time to time on the Phantom Thief sequel

I wonder once that Gosho want to kill a family named Miyano. He already killed most of the Miyano family member in his series except the last one and if he killed that one too (die or stay as Haibara Ai), I'll become sure of it.  :P
