...how in the world does that even look remotely usable? All you do is create questions and answers... There's nothing to even score the answers or give meaning to those scores. :-\

Yay for more visitings! Not ALL of the East Coast gets snow. When are you going to be visiting, and how far north are you likely to get? Maybe we can hang out again!! That would be awesomeness!! n.n
My NaNo 2014 project is a crossover fanfic with Persona 4 and Detective Conan! This year I'm sending the detective from Persona 4 to find out what happened to Shinichi.

I expected AoT/SnK to be seriously overhyped given what I'd heard of it, but it was actually pretty good ^^.

I think it's kinda both. I'm starting to feel certain shonen cliches and consistently serious storytelling should stay far away from each other.

Oh, nothing fully lives up to the hype unless you have some seriously rose-tinted glasses, but I was expecting it to be way more overrated than it turned out to be. Though I definitely agree with you there. And idk if this is one of the things you mean, but I found it really amusing when Eren would be being dramatic and it was like there was a wind machine or he was covered in fire and then you would back out of it and nothing had actually happened :x. I don't think I was meant to find it funny though, which may be an issue :x.

Unfortunately I am not going to do my cross country like I did during the summer. The most I am going to do is visit NYC for New Years Eve and then be stuck in Virginia for 5 days. Really wish we could hang out again Miaka. Such a blast last time.

My main issue is that Armin is the only character I fully care about out of the 3 main ones. Because he acts the most like a human being. And I feel like most of the reasons why Eren and Mikasa are the way they are is an intentional dark storytelling aspect, it's just not being handled as well as it could have.

Hmm, I sorta agree. For me, Eren gets away a lot with how he acts because it tends to be useless unlike what I'm used to from protagonists with that kind of attitude, and that I think at some point it's stated that determination is worth very little without the skill to back it up? I definitely wish Mikasa was more nuanced though; hopefully the stuff not yet adapted has some of that. Or, you know, even some parallels with Annie could be used to develop her character further (their pragmatism certainly can be similar at times). Or maybe some of Eren's character if played right, but I can see that ending up being a lot more heavy-handed so :/.
