I would immediately recommend Rayman Legends and Wonderful 101.

Sometimes I just forget that going to live abroad because you want to and you can is not something "normal" people do. It just hit me because I was talking to an old high-school friend on facebook and he was like "what? you live where now?". I guess that it's because I'm around a lot of other French people doing the same thing as me I don't notice it's not usual, I guess.

Darn, I need to go to sleep, deep thoughts aren't my thing. At all.

Took me slightly more than a week, but I finally managed to watch Children Who Chase Lost Voices.
I should be honest that I'm partly at fault for why this keeps happening. I've gotta clear 2 hours and be in a clear mindset devoted to watch the film from start to finish and not pause every 20 or so minutes. A film is meant to be watched in one go, and not giving it such a treatment isn't fair to the film. I do wish I could watch films like this in theaters, cause then I wouldn't have a pause button, and it's not like I would walk out in the middle since I already paid for it.

Overall it was an okay film, with beautiful art and rich settings. I did have a few issues with it, though.

I agree. It's a nice movie, but there was something about the movie I didn't like. I haven't seen it in about a year or two, so I don't exactly remember what it was :-X

Never seen this movie, but it title reminds me of another (this time non-anime) movie - "The City of Lost Children".

I'm still awfully slow doing the math, even though it's the kind I like most. But I'll get there.

Aqua, I'm starting working on my PhD in theoretical chemistry - and today I got my first little task for that. Not that I got anywhere with it yet, but I enjoyed trying ^^

On my part, the protagonist's motivation is extremely vague (only in the 90 minutes mark does she actually suggest what was the reason she embarked on the journey), and it doesn't feel like there was that much of character development for her. A big chunk of the middle feels really empty and the pacing is a bit of an issue. It somewhat felt like it was trying to do stuff that would work better in a book, or a short anime, than something that fits a film - the best way to probably describe what I mean is that I think the film had too many plot points.
