First, I want to say a big THANKS! to DCTP.  Great job as always, and I really appreciate all the work you guys put into bringing us Conan.  :)

Next, I thought it was a pretty good movie all told.  The biggest surprise was that it's the first movie WHERE NO ONE DIES!    :o  That was a real shocker.

Second, didn't it look like the access code for the bio-hazard area at the beginning was ****?  Not four numbers covered up, but just him hitting the star button four times?  Pretty lame password.  :D

I loved the fact that they actually stole no poisonous material.  That caught me completely off guard.  Even when I realized that the people on-board weren't affected, I still thought they were just saving the poison for some other use instead.  Nice decoy.

Well, I love Conan for the mystery, the suspense, the logic, the main plot, with all its twists. After 16 years, the same old characters are not that appealing to me, per se, anymore. I'm not expecting plot advances from the movies, obviously. That's why I thought the last movie was pointless. With this one there was no basic problem, and I was enjoying it up until probably half of the movie. But it kept going and the inconsistencies kept piling up, and then there were all this ridiculous parts, like when this guy shoots Conan with a machine gun and can't land a hit, but Conan is able to easily smash the guy in the face with a ball, while dodging the bullets. I'm sorry, I can't let that pass. I find that to be terrible storytelling. There's this thing were stories have to make sense somehow for the viewer/reader to be able to relate with the scene and "dive" into it. If you're watching something that you can't relate with, or that it's hard to believe, then you probably can't enjoy it, cause the connection is lost. I can't find that sort of scenes amusing, interesting, or thrilling. They just ruin the whole thing up for me. To that, add up a plot ridiculous in a similar level, and then insert the characters I already know and love doing out of character things, and you've already won my dissaproval.

I envy you, if you can enjoy any movie as-it-comes. I probably have watched to many movies and anime in the last years to be able to take that approach. I've become somewhat picky.

Regarding the release, I'm also thankful, and I think it was a great job, but this is not a release thread, or so I think.

Of course there were some unbelivable things in that movie but hey. You can't change it. So you shouldn't be mad about that. BE gratefull that you were able to see it.

And yeah my ShinRan (yes I am a ShinRan - you are free to hate me you AiCons :P :P :P)wanted to kill Kid for sure. That damn basterad :D I was like... no please not... damn that thief... damn him to hell.
But as he said and I think it's the most thruth sentence I ever heard:
"That's what a thief does. Stealing... and even if it is a womans heart"
Luckily Ran got it :)

Best DC movie to date. GREAT plot. However, the rising climax was more exciting than the climax itself. Nevertheless, the best DC movie, passed all my expectations.

@band-aid:
Band-aids are often used as a romantic element in stories :V I dunno why, but it is used.
Like Harvest moon has it or Lovely Complex too (if I'm not wrong).
And it's something Sonoko would totally do to tease Ran XD I liked that :D

@haibara being slapped:
This was also used to make the haibara fans rage ;D
Still, I don't think it was pointless, but was fitting. Because the bad guys were actually really bad this time. They even threw conan out of the window.
So in comparison, haibara was "just" slapped. She could also have been shot instead (which they totally couldn't do :P).
So I liked that, since the bad guys weren't going easy on children like usually.

Overall I liked the movie ;D There were a lot of nice scenes. Like Kid or Heiji etc.
But the shooting scenes were really silly this time :V And I wouldn't hire those mercenaries with such a bad aim. But since it's a movie, I let it pass :x
And there wasn't a real mystery there too, agreed. But there wasn't anyone killed either so... :V But it didn't seem that they were aiming for a great mystery anyway.
And I totally thought everyone that was smoking was a bad guy :V (besides kogoro).

The shooting scenes were silly, but I enjoyed them. If the terrorists were BO agents, I would've been really pissed. The only part I didn't like was the battle on the Skydeck. Also, the first main bad guy was defeated waaay too easily. But I did like the scene were Conan was dodging  bullets on the corridors. GREAT MOVIE. ENJOYED IT SOOOO MUCH! I 'll post by pro-con list later.

PROS:
Brilliant overall plot
GREAT AND EXCITING SCENES
Kaito - Ran plot factor was nicely executed
Several "whoa" twists throughout the movie
Had a refreshing "DC" feeling
The lack of murder for once was actually refreshing

CONS:
The skydeck faceoff scene seemed a bit off and silly. (< Hiragushi's ending. Can anyone relate?)
I was expecting a better faceoff between Conan and the original (first) main bad dude. Simply being kicked by a soccer ball wasn't the best way to end it all.
The terrorist group which seemed so elite to start with ended up incompetent aganist Conan. Also, a few stupid scenes were just funny (The waitress girl charging over to the other room with her gun in a Chianti  like manner...aka...KILL KILL KILL! *insert fail*)

Almost same critics as the ones posted already... I'd like to mention the second one getting knocked out by Conan, (Cat B I think) grabbing Conan's belt, even Conan can't predict such stupidity :P

Just in case, im gonna add that i was waiting for Conan to stop them kissing. <w<

You made me lol. XD XD

- Did i miss the scene were Sonoko actually gave Ran those bandaids or did it never happen ?
- Was i like the only one who actually liked Ai getting slapped ? <_<''
- And whoa, really ? No1 died ? :O

And i didnt even expect that there would be more bad guys... <_<''
But the big football should have rlly popped when it was under the bridge.
It was kinda stupid for the homicide department from Tokyo to go to the scene. I would have understood it when there would have actually someone who died from the bacteria.
But then again, they KNEW that Mouri was on there, so they were prolly certain that someone would die. XD

It wasn't stupid at all. In fact, it was perfectly normal. Once a person is in a prone position, using something as a support to get yourself up is perfectly normal. Which was exactly what the guy did. He was probably shocked when he saw the handle at first, since he didn't notice it at all when he rushed in but probably figured that he didn't notice it due to the fact that he was so focused on helping his comrade. Besides, if I were him, who knew that such an innocent looking thing could actually do that?

They shoulda stopped the James Bond action scenes once it hit the skydeck. All the dodging before that was entertaining and a million times more believable than what happened in movie 13. Still, greatest DC movie ever! - 9/10

And 1Kaito, dilbert's always like that. She's a real good person and all but it's just her personality to criticize stuff. She even finds DC's plot (BO) weak and full of paper thin characters. But people are like that, you just have to respect other people's opinions. Don't worry, there more a LOT more people who enjoyed the movie than people who disliked it. I've been in other forums, chatrooms and everyone seems to love it.

I loved this movie. Probably my favorite Detective Conan movie yet. It had some parts that weren't possible or very believable, but overall I thought it was a good movie. 9.7/10!

I completely agree

I noticed that he somehow made 2 soccer balls. I thought he could only make one at a time, or maybe I am mistaken.
I liked the skateboard scene, except for the part where he did a back flip and landed back on the skate board. It just...didn't seem right.
I wish Ai had more scenes. Ai could have done a lot more than just inform Conan about the terrorist.
Kid and Conan team was AWESOME. Hopefully they do this more later on.
I am a AixConan fan, but also a ShinxRan fan, so when Kid was about to kiss Ran, I was waiting for Ran to go all karate on him or for Conan to just take him out. Sadly, Kid got away unscathed.

Many more things I could say I liked or didn't like, but I would be repeating things already said.

I'm pretty sure you misunderstood the post, just as kkslider did.

P.S. You're starting to become obvious again. People are going to notice.
