Warner Bros.

Since there is a Disney thread, why not a WB thread? I don't know about you, but WB had just as much, if not more impact on my childhood than Disney. And, in my opinion WB stayed with us FAR better than Disney. Much of Disney's work feels like it talks down to kids, but I never really felt that way with the WB work that I saw or can remember... Probably because WB's work was just as much for adults as children (or solely for adults in their movie production)

Lets see what they have done...? (I'm sticking to their animation studio, and nothing they had produced by other studios)

In film...

-ANYTHING involving the Looney Toons (In pure, you'll see why later)... I think that goes without saying though...
-Batman: The Mask of the Phantasm (If you haven't seen this movie and are even REMOTELY a fan of Batman, see it now! In fact... see it even if you aren't. It is THAT GOOD)
-Space Jam (And that didn't take long... This movie involved the Looney Toons, but I don't feel like it held up as well as the pure Looney Toons films. I think it was a poor attempt to sell stuff, and cash in on the still popular Who Framed Roger Rabbit from almost a decade prior)
-THE IRON GIANT (This seems to be a forgotten film, and that is really a shame... it is really a fantastic film)
-Osmosis Jones

I just realized... I don't think WB films are remembered as well as Disney's.... They just aren't... And the majority of them are really good.... Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and The Iron Giant are two of my favorites.

However... lets all be honest... WB does not shine in animated movies like Disney does... They shine in TV...

TV Shows:

Looney Toons (obviously)
Tiny Toon Adventures
Animaniacs
Freakazoid
Batman: TAS

There are probably more... But I'll leave it at that, mainly because those are the ones that impact the most in my mind. And honestly... Those alone make it up to the current decade almost.

Looney Tunes got to be my favourite forever. I think I watched more of that than compared to Disney stuff's because Looney Tunes is always on TV? XD I watched that a lot with my brother.

I watched this movie like 237508570 times, about the basketball thing. Can't remember. Bugs Bunny was freaking awesome. I remember liking Lola Bunny a lot. It's the one which made my brother and I kept going: I believe I can fly~~~, I believe I can touch the sky~~~ (or something along the lines). How nostalgic~~~. Oh right, just found out. It was Space Jam.

My brother and I also bought lots of stickers of Looney Tunes (those waterproof kind, specially made to stick in the bathrooms) and pasted it at the glass sliding door of the shower XD (to whch is still there until today~).

The one movie I may have watched 237508571 times, in all honesty. I watched it so much back in the day that I began to wear the tape out.

For me it wasn't a tape, though. It's those huge CD kinds (which I once again do not know how to explain what that is -_- but remember that I love it so much because the cd is so big!). I think it couldn't be played anymore... :( And I think I've watched that when I was four or something, and I can still remember the details. Totally shows how much of a deep impression it left me.

Gotta love Space Jam :P

Gotta give props to The Matrix, nothing even came close to it in '99

Methinks it was a LaserDisc, but here in America we never really had those. I think some educators may have used them, but (while I'm sure someone, somewhere did) I never ended up seeing one in personal use. It took off in Japan and other bits of Asia, but not so here. (There were quite a few Conan LaserDisc releases, if anybody feels like wasting a lot of money getting them)

Space Jam FTW! XD I don't even know how many times I saw that movie.

As far as the TV shows go: Looney Toons and Animaniacs were probably the biggest staples of my childhood. I never really watched much of the Disney TV shows, just the movies, so when it comes to TV shows, WB definitely wins.

Animaniacs was so funny. A little more out there than Looney Toons.
Both are just as enjoyable to watch. I don't mind watching them all day long.

lol, Space Jam. That was back during the days when I was mesmerized with Michael Jordan, so seeing that as many times as possible was a necessity. Helps that Bill Murray had a role in it, too. Bill Murray is still the man. And try to pretend you still don't remember the lyrics to the main theme.

EVERYBODY GET UP, IT'S TIME TO SLAM NOW

And am I the only one that remembers Histeria!? That show was amazing. I liked it more than The Animaniacs, and I LOVED The Animaniacs.

Of the classic Looney Tunes, I was a huge, hyuuuggeee fan of The Road Runner. He was my favorite. He still is. Yes, I still get a kick out of Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote.

Space Jam... haha I think about that one at work allllll the time.

Mainly because a guy I work with will always, without fail, reply to "I'm back" with "from outer space!"

It's awesome.

best part about Space Jam: If you go to the promotional website, it's like you've just traveled to the 90s again.
