Wouldn't Kaito's symbol be the club instead of the spade? The dangling thing on his monocle has a club on it, and the pun is based around the pronunciation of "Kuroba" sounding like how a japanese person would pronounce the English word "clover".

it could be that as well, because honestly the ace of spades is just in my mind as a common card of his, which leads me to connect it to him. But, lookin at the most recent kid case (in the anime, and its manga equivalent):

admittedly, that's not anywhere near solid evidence (especially as in the manga you can also see the queen of hearts, so he's just shooting out well-known cards ), but at the very least it explains why I thought that.

I'd completely forgotten about the club on the monocle, though. I'd look back for other places where the ace of spades pops up, but I don't know what volumes/files and such kaito appears in.

You'd think he'd prefer the Ace of Clubs, partially because it signifies happiness and partially because of the "Clover/Kuroba" thing.
