I read through all the replies to get ideas on how I should deal with my own concerns but I only grew more panicky after I realized the situation I am in. :(

I'm gonna have a medical check-up on Monday..

If i passed, I'd be contracted for 1 year as Training Support position..  But I'm still not sure if I'm up to it..

1 year is a long time.. And they will be keeping my original diploma certification for safekeeping..

Not even that. It's the bloody recession. Nobody's taking on workers that they don't absolutely need.

If you can't find a job then how about gaining some work experience instead, ofc that means working for free.

But you still have to do it anyway.

At least you have a job -- for now. That's better than nothing ;)

It's not that bad, look at Satou-kun!  He gets a nice pretty girl to do everything for him!

But in all seriousness, I hope you pass your medical and get that job you want!  The only way your heading is up now, my friend.

It's not really the kind of job i wanted, frankly...

I just applied there because they're pretty much a large and bona fide company..

Being a jack-of-all-trades is not that bad, I think.

Oddjobs, freelance, arubaito (arbeit) in Japan, those sorts of things... the uncertainty is actually the thrill of it. Not having a stable job is somewhat an adventure in itself, but it's one of those things that one should take knowing the risk of having no job at all. Risk w/freelance or a stable, but stale and repetitive job... up to you. I'd prefer the latter though, I just feel that I got no balls for freelance... or maybe just half :P

Lots-o'-luck to you, mate

As for Jack-of-all-Trades, there's a guy worse than you.
At least be happy about that ;-P

A friend of mine said something like this :

Work isn't about FUN, It's about how much CRAP can you take from your boss

well that's certainly a pessimistic view on things.

The other day at work we had people shooting nerf guns at each other. :V

You can't enjoy fun without suffering, unless we'll start believing that fun is pain, and that suffering is bliss.

"If you want to know why having a job sucks, take into account they are paying you for you to do it"

I just remembered this sentence. I'm not trying to depress you btw xD

Shoot, I'm the same. I'm in my last semester of college. And when I graduate, I don't even know where to begin...I have other side jobs to work, but none in my major. Sucks for me.
