I went to Japan recently, but the town was too far away, but that was fine as Conan is basically everywhere. All the anime merchandise shops have Detective Conan stuff and he is used to promote a lot of things in convenience stores.
It was very expensive going to Japan though.

That would be epic. Problem is, as Charlotte-Holmes pointed out, Japan is VERY expensive, and hands up who ISN'T piss-poor? *Hand is welded to student loans letter on the floor*

As long as I am with someone who actually doesn't fall asleep everywhere and leave me behind on train station platforms, I'm happy. I went with my Dad and he even slept through Detective Conan movie 15. I have no idea how he does it. Also he can't speak any Japanese so I had to do most of the talking.

Also: Conantown is only a half-mile from Herotown.
