I didn't read much, cause I'm tired, but here you can read something about the roman god Saturn:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturn_(mythology)

He seems to be Zeus' father, so he would be Minerva's (Athena's) grandfather. Now, reading this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juno_(mythology)

It seems the goddess Juno (Greek name Hera) was also mother of the goddess Minerva, and check this out: she's also the mother of Ares (Mars). She's not the mother of Apollo, though. Her other son is called Vulcan.

I think we're all overly inclining toward all these mythology relation that we're going away from Gosho's hint .....

While it's not very relevant to the case, it still provides useful information on how Gosho chose these names because the origin of the names have relations to each other.

Something to think about
Spoiler:
3 suspects

1. Hades
To bring back the essence of this case, we shouldn't forget the Book of Revelations (BR). Hades is frequently brought up in the Book of Revelations (Revelations 1:18, 6:8, 20:13-14). If you bother reading these verses, death and Hades come together. Remember, Hades Sabara is a suspect.

2. Ares
However, i think Ares seems a dodgy character.  File 744, pg 2 makes me wonder if he understands Japanese. It's been revealed in file 747 that he is an ex lover of Minerva. Could the mysterious man who gave a sinister smile at the end of file 747 be him? (Refer to file 747 spoilers)

Also, who's the man with dreadlocks? It's definitely not Ares (744 pg 8). So, could it be Hades?

3. Diana

I don't think she's behind this murderous plot, but she definitely has some relation to it. She's most likely Hades' mother, whose supposed death drove Hades to become a serial killer.

3 victims

1. Juno - vision impaired mother of Minerva and Apollo. also a Holmes fan.

Remember file 743 pg 16, where the dreadlocks guy said in his embarrassing English, "If it never make sense, leave it to Holmes..." Could there be a relationship between this and the reason Juno is a Holmes fan?

2. Minerva - tennis pro, Juno's daughter, Ares' ex lover, frequents Holmes' statue to 'ensure' victory in her tennis matches

It's almost certain that the intended target is Minerva, but there's still a possibility of it not being her. At file 744 pg 16, she could very well be talking about her relationship with Ares.

3. Apollo

Apollo wouldn't be murdered, but he will be a victim, in a sense, if he were to witness the murder. Remember, Conan said in 744 pg 8 that the murder would take place in front of many kids - an essential clue for determining the location of the murder.

Regardless, all these are just speculations, and file 747's pivotal parts are just Shinichi turning back into Conan, Ares being revealed to be Minerva's ex, the mysterious lady with shades passing on an important hint to Ran, the last clue being "Saturn", as well as that sinister smile at the end.

If you are interested in mythology, you should read the stuff Homer wrote about the greek gods.

Diana may be Hades' mother's sister or someone like that instead of Hades' mother. I would wait for more info before assuming that Diana is the dead mother because that situation requires there to be a messed up situation and trickery that goes beyond what is reasonably easy to assume. (Someone faking a terminal disease for son for some reason then leaving son behind without telling him.)
Edit: Diana is very rich now, where as Hades' mother was not because they couldn't afford the surgery. Also what kind of mother names their child "Hades"?

Saturn has a specific day of the week named after him - Saturday.

How is it not related to the case? What I'm doing is trying to understand what the "Saturn" hint might mean. With all these weird names, you would expect it to be related.

Where does it say that Ares was Minerva's ex-lover??

It's stated in the spoiler we got, that they assume Saturn might indicate the time of the crime - on saturday

Spoiler:
Yes, it does. The translation was kind of messy so I didn't get that. That deduction could be wrong, though. Why all the trouble just to guess something as unspecific as a date? Maybe it is pointing to Saturday, but it also points to something else.

Wow, this new chapter looks very interesting, things are starting to move. I can't wait to read the translation.

Spoiler:
It seems it's not about Saturday, considering the culprit's comments in the last couple of pages. Also, it appears the mystery woman is Hestia. At least they look similar, though giving hints is kind of a Yukiko thing. Maybe she is Hestia, and she's not working with Hades anymore, so she's trying to help solve the riddle.

Regarding what I was saying about mythology, it also seems Apollo is Athena's (Minerva's) half-brother. He's not really Hela's (Juno's) son. This might or might not be related. All this mythology names might be a Chekhov's gun waiting to go off, or just some sort of red herring. What do you think?

Regarding "Saturn", the culprit states they didn't "read his revelations". Maybe Saturn should be interpreted in relation to the book of revelations. The "ask Holmes" for help was surely refering to the fact that the riddle was Holmes related, but the "book of revelations" part is still unresolved. Any ideas?

Spoiler:
I'm sure this was already stated, but Cronus (Saturn) is the father of Hestia and Hades. And since the clue about Saturn in riddle apparently doesn't mean Saturday, perhaps Saturn means their father. I'm just wondering why the names keep switching between Roman and Greek mythology.

Maybe Saturn refers to the titanomachy or the myth where Saturn ate all his children: i.e. a declaration against all the "gods" people.
I don't think Hestia would have helped with the riddle, and Juno showed up, so mystery lady isn't Juno. I'm back in the Yukiko camp pending the translation changing my mind.

Hi peeps, have a suggestion to make. Could we not hide speculations and assumptions with the spoiler icon, and leave it for actual spoilers? Or has this already become a habit?

All in good nature, y'all.  8)

If people talk about a file that hasn't been released, it goes in the spoiler box no matter what it is, even if it is speculations based on info from that file. Since the Saturn thing is in file 747 and not 746, discussion about it goes in spoiler boxes.

Woops! My bad.

Spoiler: Mysterious woman
Mysterious woman speaks English. I thought it was rather clear that she isn't Juno? Anyway, she appears in only 2 pages in file 747. It can get pretty frustrating, seeing Gosho's clearly taking his own sweet time with this case. Initially, i thought she would be Kisaki, but she seems to be giving of some kind of sinister vibe, especially at 747 pg 11. So maybe she's Vermouth... I just can't seem to find anything 'Yukiko' about her.

Spoiler:
Why not? We don't know much about her. Only that she helped Hades, and then "blew herself up" when the police was about to find her. Maybe they found her because Hades gave her location up, and now she's decided to stop him. There's another thing. If Hestia is not with Hades, his modus operandi might not be bombing, anymore.
