What should I do next....

Nothing difficult, just seeing if there are any gems that seem to have mysterious tales about them having magic or maybe just a  story about a glowing rock. Maybe checking any stones available before hand to see if there is anything special about them. I'd do it myself but, ah, your friend's uncle is giving me more work than I bargained for...

You say you won't tell her your 'problem' to protect her, but after being with her this long, they'll just kill her anyway. The sooner they get taken down, the better. And... *stands up* my problem isn't as bad as yours. They don't kill everyone involved in my heists, even if they suspect someone helped. My mother being alive is proof of that. I doubt they'd care if I start getting ideas from an 'anonymous' source... *turns and points a finger at Ran*

But only if they never see that source actively help me in some way. *gives a no nonsense look*

...*looks out the window*...*fourth wall takes more damage*...and we might could also get his help. After all, he is The Doctor. ;)

I'd love to help, all of Jirokichi's jewels have a story even the fake ones, well thats what I heard from Conan or someone that randomly came into here.

Well then, you might be much more of a help than I had originally thought! I'm certain the Suzukis are willing to let you see some of the jewels beforehand. They wouldn't let any of his staff go near them... It would save me some trouble, but I'm also sure that Jirokichi will still hoard some of them as bait for me. Now then... *goes and opens the window*

Hey, want to help with something that's a matter of life and death? *smiles as if the sentence wasn't strange at all.*

*In the back of his mind, he reminds himself that he also doesn't entirely know who the Doctor is...only little bits he picked up from others*
