this is part of the reason the absolute non-talking of ghosts was revoked, because back when it was only 4 people left in Game 2 it got really quiet.

Fools, have you not realized that "shopping" is a code word. Ctu is Clark Kent. Every time he hears/sees/senses danger, he drops everything and goes "shopping". That is when Superman magically appears to save the day.

It's just bad luck that something bad happens around results time and he is forced to go "shopping".
