I've said already that my investigation for James Rye came out false tonight. Since it is the first time I'm investigating him, getting a False result does change things. I'll have to wait for now.

And it really looks people aren't trusting me, even with the arrest thing. Look, I made the first arrest attempt back in Day 1. It's impossible for a BO member to do that. So, wouldn't the real police officer here say he made the arrest attempt, which would turn me instatly in a BO member? I'll answer for you: NO, because it was me!

I didn't know that you can investigate and arrest someone...
And you can still be Vermouth. Disguised as an officer or whatever role has your ability.

There are decisions that a player has to make during the Preparation Phase.
Roles with Prep. Actions: Vermouth, KID, Yumi, Sonoko, Hakuba, Makoto

* Disguise
- Roles with that action: Vermouth, KID
- The player chooses a number of players to disguise as. (GM tells how many players to choose) The player will then disguise as that role and be able to use their actions, just like being that role.

Disguises are taken during the Preparation Phase.  So as early as Night 1, you could have attempted an arrest, Vermouth.

Only if the action is a "crime".
And crimes are: killing, slandering, abducting, disguising, removing bodies, intimidating/tricking, frightening and stealing. I might have missed one though...

Eisuke's tricking also counts as a crime. So Abs.'s  claim can be true.

- An arrested person may still talk freely and it's identity remains secret, but is otherwise considered dead (and can therefore not get killed, vote or use any actions)."

though the identity wasn't revealed, in previous rounds, iirc the crime they committed was revealed. That wouldn't help us much here though, because we're fairly sure that the crime is tricking/intimidating.

After I got in contact with James Rye, I can say: I'm lynching him, his excuse for my investigation turning out false wasn't valid. I don't know if he is BO or not, so the lynching will reveal the truth for him and Det.Tommy.
