Wikipedia counts arbitrary and changeable home video marketing choices more than objective stuff like original air dates for their categorization of "seasons", so all new episodes will be counted as the most recent "season" release until the next "season" release starts. The anime is actually in its 15th year now.

A season usually changes with every 1-2 cours, which is 13-26 episodes.  So really, if Conan followed conventional rules (which it doesn't, given its many specials), it'd be in season 44 (or 22 if following a 2-cour season schedule).

I think having the show be on the 44th season would be epic Although I was just counting is as being on season 15 (I could one year as a season)

Yeah, it varies depending how you define a season, as everyone's perception is different. I usually go by OP/END changes, but I can't really do that, and not really accurate, for DC since they change sometimes between connected episodes and the difference in OP and END.

I still stick with the 13 episode stance, since that's how television stations sell allocation time.  It's why almost every series' length is divisible by 13.  13, 26, 52.  It's rare to not be like that, outside of ridiculong shows like DC, Naruto, One Piece, Doraemon, Sanzae-san, etc.  Every now and then you'll get a show that pays extra just to use a different number, like Haruhi and FMA Brotherhood.  But overall, it's the best indicator of "season" in the general sense.

If it's that, then there's roughly between 11-13 seasons give or take, but then again my counting could be off from yours.
