I like the idea of removing disguises (and I think Kaitou Kid should probably have that ability as well, to save himself from a tough spot if need be), it'll throw a wrench in the plot just when we don't need it, which makes it automatically a good idea.

I still think Towns need a "SUPER HERO" a game with good ability, maybe KID wont be auto arrest but still if house searched "JAILED" Becaause 1/3 of townie is hard to know.

I still dont want Megure to be Discombobulated. He needs to give at least who's going to be arrested, so Megure wont tell his alliance if ever he have who is he going to arrest.

Dreams were taken away in this iteration because 1) They made it too easy for BO to APTX people.  2) Never liked them in the first place - sure, they help the players, but it's more of a cheat from the GM rather than the players figuring things out on their own through trickery, deceit, etc.

To make up for the difficulty in APTXing people, I made Megure think twice before going berserk with house searches.

Anyway, the next time you GM you can adjust things to your liking.  8)

Kleene: "Everyone!  I protected Akonyl last night and found out that Beastly tried to kill him last night!  Let's lynch Beastly!"
Akonyl: "Kleene is correct!  As you will notice, no one died last night!"
Everyone: "YEAH!  BURN THE WITCH!"
Beastly is lynched.

- Role with that action: Megure
- Can order a house search each Night. This will reveal everything about the target, all actions since the start of the game, disguise and role etc.  No matter if target committed a crime, or not.
- If the target did not commit a crime, then the player will be suspended from the force and lose all police abilities for 24 hours (2 game phases). Afterward the player will lose House Search ability AND Arrest ability, be reduced to Investigate 1 for the rest of the game, and not receive any Auto-Reports.
- If the target DID commit a crime, the target is Auto-Arrested.
- If the target has not committed a crime yet, but commits a crime in the same phase as the House Search order is given, the House Search will still be considered a failure, and the officer will suffer the consequences.  The crime, however, will be hindered.
- Crimes are: Killing (normal, sniping or using APTX), disguising, slandering, discombobulating, abducting, erasing, frightening, steal. Black Suitcase actions are not crimes.  Being in the BO isn't a crime.  So if you find out conia is Gin, no Auto-Arrest will happen, and the police officer will still be suspended, etc.
- This action CAN be discombobulated.

That part I would have to partially disagree with. Killing would happen before the house search takes place (order or actions killing is #2 after arresting So the player would still die, but the culprit would be cough before evidence can be disposed of. Although anything else I guess it can still apply

Isn't that the same problem as arresting?

I can agree with that.

So the killing will happen.  And the House Search will not (in Kleene's example)

I'm leaning towards leaving it as is, and putting House Search higher than killing in the order of actions.  What say you?  So the police got there before the killer left to kill his target.  (Or before the trickster left to trick his target, before the thief left to steal from his target, etc.)

Megure does house search on Gin.
Gin kills Megure.

Megure does House Search on Gin.  Gin has not killed anyone yet and is innocent, Megure gets suspended, etc.  However Gin does not get to kill Megure.

Ah!  I'd have to take off the discombobulatability though.
