P.S: I realize that there is no connection and magic file 4 is for movie 14.

acctually it would be funny if the magic file was connected to movie 14 and centered around seeing as kazuha wants a baby. anyways. i still think sato and takagi have been ignored

They are being ignored! Especially recently! *sigh* it's so hard being obsessed with support characters sometimes.

lol sato and takagi are great but i love Heiji and Kazuha X3. they're my OTP

I dunno... The Mustang jump from my favorite movie has to take the cake if we're talking ridiculousness.

movie 5? yeah that one was pretty rediculous but in those terms i'd say the stunt in movie 11 with the ship or in movie 12 with singing in that high a frequency. you'd have to be an opera major to hit that high note. i have tried

The most absurd part of it was that the writer tried to have Haibara explain it like that would suddenly validate the madness that was to come. Not even Einstein could convince me that that trip was going to be a safe one in the real world. Haibara being able to calculate that in such a self-assured fashion more or less completely went against everything she should be about as a scientist--I'M JUST SAYIN', FOLKS! :-X

The actual dispersants and detonation velocity would be what really determine whether that was going to work out (it wasn't, anyway), but that scene always annoyed me even when we were working on it all those years ago. Let's just say that when I'm about to break the laws of physics, I'd rather not go about it taking somebody's word for it.

The dramatation of that whole scene annoyed me lol ::) The movies cause some strange stunts to happen, like in one of the movies Ran jumped out of a building by tying herself onto something ??? And then Conan leapt from boat to boat in another (which was mentioned). It's like a ridiculous way to make the movie exciting, knowing that no one could do such a thing...then again I've noticed that Conan's jumping, kicking, and leaping abilities are completely super human.... ;D

I would definitely agree that the car jump scene was the most ridiculous. Though it remains my favorite movie, it was completely unnecessary, as it would have been perfectly suspenseful for them to simply drive the car over right before the bombs went off. Also, in the absence of the car, something could have been worked out using Conan's suspenders. That being said, pretty much every movie has some scenes that make no sense (they are movies after all). Movie 2: The whole Aquacrystal blowing up was pretty insane. Movie 3: The "bulletproof lens" idea was cool, but in real life the bullet would just push the lens back into your eye causing serious damage. Movie 4: The selective amnesia, as well as the way it was "cured" aren't especially realistic. Movie 6: The whole movie's premise is sci-fi-ish. Movie 7: The arrow jumping is really silly. This was a terrible movie, but didn't have that many ridiculous moments (aside from some of the fight and chase scenes maybe). Movie 8: The entire second half of the movie feels like a take-off on Airplane!. Movie 9: I can't think of anything physically improbable, though there were a ton of things that didn't make much sense. Movie 10: I've only watched this movie once, so I don't really remember. I'm sure there was though. Movie 11: Though whole final confrontation scene was completely absurd. Movie 12: The absolute pitch 110 scene. The stupidest scene I have seen or read in anything DC related. I couldn't believe how a) contrived and b) entirely unrealistic it was. Movie 13: Irish "pushing down" Conan to save him. Not really possible, given that the BO wasn't that far from the tower.

It's fun to pick it apart. Movie 5 is my favorite movie, yet it has probably the most unrealistic scene of all.

At least they attempted a propulsion-from-the-explosion basis for that and since I'm NO physics major, I kinda bought it.  ;D
I loved movie 5, too. And movie 8 (the airplane business).
