It just opened in theaters today, and camrips/etc are very very uncommon in Japan, so you will have to wait for the DVD/BD release in October-ish.

Very popular. It's still ranks in the top 10 in anime-shows viewed each week, which is why I find it surprising, and hard to believe, that something like Haruhi would be more popular that Detective Conan. Seems that the only time the show might not rank as high in that top ten list, is when a rerun is shown, but it's probably a rarity to not see it there at all. Naruto and Bleach seem to be more popular outside of Japan than in it. Neither rarely ever get into the top 10 list. One Piece seems to be more popular than both Naruto and Bleach here. One Piece also tends to get into the top 10 list. Even when asking the kids here what "manga" they liked, neither Naruto nor Bleach ever came up in conversation. Thanks a lot! Anyway I know there was a time when Detective Conan Overwhelmingly dominated Japan. How high was it's rating then compared to now? Also I've always known Conan to be the second most popular anime in Japan excluding the kiddy shows like Chibi Maruko Chan,etc. Is Detective Conan currently the second most popular anime in Japan behind One Piece? I find it hard to believe that it's popular than Naruto and Bleach in comparison to the rest of the world.
