Now I hope they kept the Ayumi x Conan moment of that scene.

Don't know how I could have added these letters. 
Maybe it is because people are forgetting the "yum" when talking in the Ai + Conan thread. (Even the title is wrong, that's why this thread had to be made, right? )

But theres one fanfic I can seem to find thats a Conan+Ayumi fic, I never got to finsh it.
I was about shin got his body back and Ayumi was looking for Conan, something like she ask shin If he was Conan....but thats all I remember.

Yeah, I love reading Conan x Ayumi fanfictions too. And writing them. 

There are quite a few fanfictions out there that have Ayumi and Shinichi as the main characters as well. Hey, even I wrote one. They get along well together... just not as a pairing.
I read some other with Ayumi and Shinichi with a similar idea as well, so I can't really help you to find the story you are looking for unless you remember a few more details. It seems like Ayumi meeting Shinichi and figuring out he is/was Conan is quite a famous motive among ff-writers.

yea, that's probably a better way of putting it, because I would like to see ALL the girls that likes Shinich addressed in some way, Ran (who I know is going to be addressed), ayumi (who still has a chance at change!), and Ai (if only she would say something).

Funny, when I was reading Kaito Kid, I kept thinking "This pimp! He's a sly dog!" I mean, he looked under a random girl's skirt and looked at her underwear and said "white is for purity" and that girl wasn't Aoko....

Yep, he's worse. Shinichi is just a the nice guy who every girl wants. Kaito Kid temps girls to want him...on purpose....

Personally, I also like reading AyumixConan fanfics. they are very entertaining.

But he shouldn't point those flirtations on Ayumi. Ayumi is dangerous... for Kaito. 

He can never know if Conan isn't around. Or if the detective badge is transmitting his flirt to him. Or if Conan is even disguising as Ayumi at the moment.
Well, he could, but he would have to stalk her to make sure... and I don't know if he wants to become known as the "high-schooler" who stalks little girls
And of course she might decide it is a good way to beat Conan in a case by solving the famous criminal he was unable to catch.
Kaito Kid captured by 1st grade elementary schoolgirl - mhh... sounds like a good newspaper headline to me. 


Well, but on the other hand Kaito loves dangerous gambles. Like flipping skirts of mob-wielding girls who are "not a bit cute". Or sending announcements to the victims of his next crime. Or accepting challenges from a certain elder Susuki who would love to gain immortal fame by capturing him.
Or... by trying to swoon the future wife of a certain shrunken meitantei, who is out to catch him if he has the chance.

But Kaito can be a pimp, sort of like Shinichi. All the girls, including fair Sonoko, have fallen in love with Kaito!

Besides, I find Kaito Kid's lechery hilarious!...Not that it's a good thing....just a part of his character....like it is for Kogoro...though he's a drunken lecher.....

I agree, Kaito probably does feel some self-worth, and possibly feels unable to get the girl he wants...

Still, he's sucking that up pretty well....

I think we strayed from the intended topic a bit now. 
I mean, Kaito Kid is a nice topic and even more interesting how Ayumi catches him (or takes part in catching him, I guess it would take the combined effort of all 5 Detective Boys to be successful).

So... back to Ayumi x Conan.
There were some discussions already (usually in other threads) why Ayumi would be the best match for Conan and why Conan for her, so I guess a new, fresh topic would be useful.  Unfortunately... I am bad at starting discussions. So I try it with this thesis:

"Despite Ayumi showing her affections for Conan openly, especially in the beginning, he never turned her completely down like the girl who was the manager in the football/soccer club. So... why didn't he do the same with Ayumi?"

And now: Discuss. (BTW... let's stay at the character level. No "Because Gosho decided to do so!")
