So, Yusaku is "technically" the best detective (he outwitted Shinichi in that one case where he dresses up as Night Baron), even though...he's not really a detective 0_o

I'd probably say Akai lists after Hattori..but here are my rankings

1. Yusaku
2. Kudo
3. Gin
4. Hattori
5. Akai
6. Hakuba

second tier (Ai, Jodie, Vermouth, Kid, Koumei, Dude with scars and 1 leg, Sato) in no ranking...

Third tier in no ranking (Kogoro, Takagi, retard detective from Gunma, Yokomizo brothers (? I forgot their names) )

I would place Gin above Shinichi. Gin has danced twice with Shinichi and both times(he figured out Conan's locker plan without the full details like it was a game of Clue and linked Mouri to the bug, again without knowing the full details that Kir knew) he won. Only reason why someone isn't dead because of these two loses is Gosho.

Three times. Though I guess the first case doesn't really count for much, Shinichi had no idea what the BO was.

As for the question, Yusaku, no question. He's better than Shinichi as well, outwitted him in the 'kidnapped' case and found out the answer very quickly in the Shinichi v. Heiji Skiing case.

oooo! I change who I think is the best! It's Gin. When people say "detective" i don't think this is taken as someone who literally wants to be a detective, but has the brains to be one.

Ai is second on my list because she can always fool Conan and trick him and he can never guess it's going to happen....I'd say she's more of a spy....
