I wasn't insinuating that Kaitou KID was based off of Count Bleck. That would be impossible since Super Paper Mario came out in 2007. I was just noticing how much they look like each other, and I wanted to see who else felt the same way. I posted this same topic on GameFAQs a while back, and someone said that Kaitou KID was the first thing he thought of when he saw Count Bleck.

Im a fangirl of Kaitou Kid and you dont say that about KID >:( he's cooler then that guy 8)
sure there can be other characters that may look like him. Hey even I made a character that sorta looks like him before I became a fan of Detective Conan.
but he's one of a kind.

a flashy thief is still just a thief, and all of the kaitou kid episodes are boring as hell, all of them have the exact same plot line, and he also loses points for touching my ayumi loli

I'll give you a cookie if you can think of a very original plotline for KID that I can use for my fanfic.
