5 is my favourite and I don't really hate any of them .. I didn't like no. 12 when I first saw it but it was oookay when I saw it the second time .. 14 was great (because I like no murder in DC!!), 11 and 13 were disappointing because of the awesome trailers but later 11 became one of my favourites and 13 .. well, it was fine I guess x) and you know when a totally different piece of your life crashes into another piece of it? the movie with Romanovs and Rasputin is one of my favourite because of that - I made a presentation of Rasputin at school and read a lot about him and then he was in a DC movie! awesome! I love that movie. not sure which one it was. xD

My favorites are: 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14
Yes, I have more on my favorites list than not. Actually, why not just let me add number 5 to the list? It was a pretty good movie. The first one I watched I'm pretty sure.
I think the worst one was number 11... Only DC movie I couldn't watch all the way through. I hardly made it through the first half hour, it just didn't entertain me. I didn't like the first two much because the art simply.... killed me to say the least.
I am ShinRan/HeiShin/KaiShin/HakuKai/HakuHei/ShinEi/MitsuAi. Got a problem with that? XD
Of course, I'm also a huge DraMione tard, but if you dare pull me into that rant, you'll be stuck here for the next five hours reading. Just ask those who read my 2700 word ShinRan rant on DCW. :PImage

The art of the first 2 movies will never be as bad as the horrible 3D scenes when Heiji and Conan are riding a motorbike in the 7th movie. :P

I didn't mind that as much... I thought it was okay.

i've only seen the first 6 so far and will post later on the other films.
Time-Bombed Skyscraper: reminded me of Speed which kept me on edge which i loved.
14th Target: did not expect that ending and killer at all. loved it.
Last Wizard: had good points but was kinda meh.
Captured in Her Eyes: was good overall but had some weak scenes to me.
Countdown to Heaven: i absolutley loved this film. the murder though just seemed tacked on and a way to keep them all in the tower.
Phantom of Baker Street: just when i thought the films couldn't get better i watched this gem. the VR was kinda cheesy but it was still a great movie with no bad scenes to be had.

Sorry for going off-topic but I don't see the need to start a new thread for this question.

In Movie 08 (Magician of the Silver Sky) Conan sleep-darted Eri and used her to solve the case. Now, for someone as acute as her, I'd think she'll be suspicious of the whole thing after waking up. I mean, she fell unconscious for no reason, solved the case, and stayed unresponsive during a crash landing. I'm sure once she woke up Ran would be giving her props for solving the case. I see this not addressed at any part of the movie and was wondering if anyone can help answer it? Maybe I missed a Magic file or something??

Never mentioned again. Just take it as some idiotic idea from one of the movie writers.

That's a glaring oversight. It's a rule that Conan only darts simpletons.

I think my favorite movies were 7-10, 12-14 and my least favorite was I guess movie 4. The amnesia thing was just idiotic and was in a way bashing Ran because of the implication of her being severely emotionally fragile. The movie also had so much saccharine romance that it could have put a person with hyperglycemia into a diabetic coma.

let's be honest here: darting kogorou and sonoko is no more realistic than darting eri. we're just used to the former, even though it doesn't make any more sense (the simpleton excuse doesn't really work).
Detective Movies Contest 2013: Information Thread  Current Faceoff

"The energies of our system will decay; the glory of the sun will be dimmed, and the earth, tideless and inert, will no longer tolerate the race which has for a moment disturbed its solitude. Man will go down into the pit, and all his thoughts will perish. The uneasy consciousness, which in this obscure corner has for a brief space broken the contented silence of the universe, will be at rest. Matter will know itself no longer. 'Imperishable monuments' and 'immortal deeds,' death itself, and love stronger than death, will be as though they had never been."

^ I agree. If we were going with what was realistic or not realistic then the trick wouldn't have worked out well the first time it was ever used on anyone.

It's not just about being realistic or not. The thing is that Kogoro, Sonoko, and that Gunma detective are not capable enough to figure out what had happened. Eri in comparison is vastly superior in intellect and the risk of exposure is far greater. I don't see why Conan couldn't just use Agasa instead (since he is on the plane). It'll be like if Conan darted Gin and you expect him to shrug it off afterwards...

From what I recall: Conan darted Eri accidentally and he had no choice in the matter but to use her for his deduction summation.

Yes, but he could've left her sleeping and went with Agasa. No one says he has to use the voice of the person he darted. IMO it would've been less risk and confusion later on. But it really doesn't matter since they never addressed this in the movie so we are expected to assume everything turned out fine.
