Crap. Tessa thought to herself. I was caught. She came out of her hiding place, her hands behind her head, and gulped as
"U-uh." She stuttered out of her mouth. "P-please don't suck my blood out. I'm begging you. I'm pretty sure it doesn't taste good. No wai- I know that it doesn't  taste good." Tessa was using every bit of her will power not to cry. Just why, oh why, couldn't she have listened to her father?

Within all of her fear, Tessa didn't hear the tiny vampire girl whisper to herself until she heard the question. H-huh? Is that question directed towards me? It must be. Hey, maybe if I answer her, I will get out of this mess alive? It's worth a shot... Tessa spoke up and answered the girl with the pale-pink hair, "Um... w-well, I don't live in this forest particularly, so I can't answer if this forest in general is peaceful... b-but where I lived back at home it was very tranquil, yes." A drop of cold sweat fell down her cheek.
