I thought that too, but I still think Shinichi would try to disprove the fact she got shrunk, until his investigations turn out to show it's the only way possible. Or Ran uses her spinning star kick karate on him.

I thought that too, but I still think Shinichi would try to disprove the fact she got shrunk, until his investigations turn out to show it's the only way possible. Or Ran uses her spinning star kick karate on him.

I think the latter will be better. That will make him realize the fact faster. I mean, it might takes forever to investigate!!

I guess. He's an insanely logical guy so there's a good chance that he may not believes her. Plus, I think this happening to him brings mcch more attention because if it has happened to Ran, and Shinichi believes her, then Shinichi would go after the BO for her, which totally leaves Ran being a extremely-not-important character because there's really nothing she can do, is there?

Maybe she will go to live with her mother and try to find a way to find an antidote or find the B.O. then Maybe Eri will tell her that she can go to live to Agasa's house and Eri will help her so she can be welcome there, then she has free access to investigate and then she can ask anything to Shinichi, but trying to sound "innocent"

I agree with you in Ran not telling Shinichi, but he'd start to freak out after she disappears or when he tries to catch up with her later, he'd definitely start investigating that she is missing. But I still think he'd have trouble believing she shrunk if he happened to somehow meet up with her. He'd figure  it out eventually and I'm sure Ran would end up telling him after he gives his deductions to why she is so small.

Wouldn't it be kind of hard to fool Shinichi? Even if he doesn't really believe in the shrinking incident, I think Ran can't pull it off that long and that many times Conan has. Besides, Ran probably needs to see Agasa even if she's living at her mom's house because her mom would definitely tell Kogorou that Ran is with her, who in turns will probably tell Shinichi, if he just wants to make Shinichi feels guilty in losing his daughter. So then Shinichi would call Eri's office and demands to speak to Ran. Eri can't possibly has that many excuses to prevent him from talking to Ran, so Ran will eventually talk to him. So that's why she needs to pay Agasa a visit some time to get a voice-changing device or something. Besides, i personally think that Agasa will encourage Ran to tell Shinichi.

Hmm, but would Agasa keep Ran's secret from Shinichi? Since he's closer to Shinichi, and also if she ended up living with Agasa would Shinichi believe the "It's my relative." line since he would know Agasa better than her.

Also I could see Ran getting APTX'd so the BO could try to use Shinichi for there dirty work, even though his answer would be no.

I definitely hope you write it,, cause I would bloke to read it. I might write . I might do a short story like it too if I ever finish my novel with Shinichi's younger kidnapped sister.
