I totally understand you. a few years ago on my way home from school, a car approached me on the road and almost hit me and I did nothing but standing on the road (because I was already in the middle and the driver supposdely didn't see me coming) I was waiting to get hit, but somehow the driver stopped (even though as I recall he was driving quite fast) and the car got so close to me that it touched my hand. again,  instead of hurring back to the sidewalk, I stood on the road waiting to get hit and after I got out alive, it didn't even bother me after that (though the other students were quite amazed).
and it's not true what they say. you don't see your whole life in a clip show with the music of Queen  >:(

If it was such a serious issue for me, I wouldn't have posted it. but seriously, if I think about it now, I don't really know why I was being an idiot and instead of running the hell out of the road to the sidewalk (which was only 2 meters away), I stood in the road and waited for the car to stop.

Personally, I think it's a very good voice, and does fit the character. It's just going to take a while to get used to it, since it's different that the voice we've been used to since the beginning of Conan. Definitely throws one for a loop to change voices on a character who's been there since episode one of such a long series, but it doesn't have to be a bad thing. In fact, this could be quite good, if we give it a chance. Yes, I'd like to have our original Kogoro back, and yes, there are things that the new seiyuu is just not good at, but I think if we give him time we'll get used to the new voice, and he will learn more, and be better at the character than he is right now. 100 eps from now, we'll look back and say "Yeah, it's different...but it's good, too." Ne?

well, he did a great development in episode 554!
it just takes some time to apply on the new voice...
at first, i was also shocked by that voice but now it's getting better

I suddenly watched ep 553 and I was like, err, WHO IS TALKING?
it took me like 5 minutes to figure out Kogoro's voice changed. T-T
now I get all confused when he's in a room with other men...
especially in the scenes where you can't see his mouth moving lol.


I'm just afraid he wont be able to do the perverted voice LOL.

I think he looks the same, but , sadly, the whole voice change thing can make anybody think that he looks diferent
