positive news though is that the views for season 5 trailer of conan where 21,500 verus kenichi a property that funimation called a sleeper hit  has 23,000 hits for it's season 1 part 1 trailer.

I wouldn't consider YouTube video views any sort of "positive news" because YouTube video views don't mean anything... it could have one million views, and it'll STILL depend on the DVD sales.

The problem there wasn't using the internet, it was assuming that since it sold absurd amounts in Japan that it would sell just as much in America.

Not bad and at least it's not a kiddy voice.  Having watched the movie, I think I'll stick with the fansub version of the original japanese movie.  There was just too much in the Funi version that was removed.

I'm sure the fact that it's free has nothing to do with it.

I mean, if you bought the DVD you'd have to change the audio to the Japanese track!

So have I. And just because I bought it doesn't mean I have to change the audio track. In fact, I haven't changed the audio track when I've watched my Lucky Star DVDs.

You just did, and I agree. Hopefully, I get the DVD by Thursday, so I can enjoy it on the trip there. Or better yet, save it for the hotel we're thinking of staying in (which will be the first time ever I'd be doing that ).

Like some have said before, it's too adult like for Haibara but I understand that capturing the sexy of Haibara is difficult to do(unless you are Megumi). It also doesn't help that Conan(her love interest) sounds and talks like a pure girl..if these where the canon voices Haibara would probably make him wear a dress during Reunion with the Black Organization so she could take pictures as a disguise.
