Case Closed subed only for more seasons

I see I never explained my position. I actually like the dub. In fact, most dubs I don't hate. At the minimum, it provides a slight spin to something that is familiar that may make you think about a certain scene a little differently than the first time. For me, I have no complaints about the dub. It's pretty much as good as it can get. In fact, I haven't seen a dubbed clip in such a long time, and I'm starting to miss it. December 29 can't come soon enough.

Apparently Anime News Network is having some kind of contest to win Case Closed Movie: Last Wizard of the Century on DVD, with the grand prize winner also getting everything released by them on DVD so far.  That's Seasons 1-5, and Movies 1 and 2 in addition to Last Wizard of the Century.

Couldn't quite understand your statement/question, but I will point out that I didn't specify what I didn't like about FUNi.  So really, why then would I give even more of my money (as per your suggestion) to a company I didn't like?

But you are missing the point.  The entire point of the post was to announce the existence of the contest for those who may be interested.

It's simple. You can't have anime that doesn't use oneesan or kun. It ruins the enjoyment of animated programming! They also often translate words instead of leaving them as the original japanese words for no reason, so I really don't know what Funi is doing!

so because they translate the horrics in there subtitles you won't buy them man you are picky, I could understand if case closed was dubbed only but funi changes nothing to the Japanese video and audio, they only make the subs

I really don't mind it that happens. In fact, sometimes I prefer it. It's because even if it's not subbed, I still hear it, I understand what it means, and to anyone who has little to no understanding of the language or doesn't care as much about the show as some of us do won't be thrown off. Of course, that's just my weird self.

Case Closed dub is really good. I can wait for the dub. Having only subs and no dub = me not buying since it will not be worth it.
