BTW, while arguing that a character may be homosexual, you always quote the scenes that support the theory. Do never forget that there are much more scenes that contradict this theory (e.g. Kazuha).

When you say "(e.g. Kazuha)", do you mean this thread?  
Also, if there are some scenes that support a character being gay, and other scenes that support that character being straight, wouldn't the most obvious conclusion be that the character is bi?  ;)

Yes, I thought of this thread. But, if we just account to the number of scenes, we had to conclude that (almost) every character is straight, but a little bit bi, because we have mch more "straight scenes" than "homosexual scenes". Well, Kazuha is an exception.
But most people around Conan, even not-of-any-importance ones like Mitsuhiko, show strong straight tendencies.
We do have to consider society as well. I think it was in the post you mentioned that a discussion about the homosexual situation of Japan arose. Considering the "conservative" attitude, it is very unlikely that any main character in a child manga (DC is read by 12-year-old-ones as well, if not more, as by adults) will be designed as homosexual.
After all, the only scene we had so far that clearly (seemed to) involve homosexuality was this murder case where Eisuke was a suspect - and it featured only secondary characters. No main character has clearly been involved with homosexuality so far. But if you think about the first four panels of this, it hints towards straight, doesn't it?

And we mustn't forget OVA 9, after all. Is the future shown in this OVA the true future? Is it a possibility? Is it only a dream (unlikely, since Conan seems to take it seriously (Araide))?

After all, we can never guess the intentions of Gosho. Let's let him draw his manga and argue afterwards, OK?

Sailor Moon had something for Seiya in the last season even though he was in reality a girl. Of course I maybe exagerate a bit. Seiya had something for her, but it is only hinted that Usagi might have had something as well.
OMG, the "Haibara" of sailor moon is Seiya!
