Missing episodes

Postby Ran-neechan16 » October 16th, 2009, 12:47 am

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could watch episodes 232, 233, and 234.
Youtube doesn't have them and I can't find them anywhere in english.
I tried to watching 232 in swedish, but the starting song gave me weird chills. 0_o
Help please!

So how long do you think it'll take for them to be subbed???
(Should I just skip them? I don't think I can stand watching it in swedish. dx)

yeah skip them or in the case of 233 and 234, read the manga (it's not exactly a vital case to the plot, but basically it does so how Haibara is like after the bus hijacking case).

Okay, thanks.  ;)

I guess I'll just skip them then, and watch them after they've been subbed.

Thanks again you two!

Well, I do have them. Not subbed, though. So if you want, I can share.

There are more missing episodes besides these...and a really inconveniant one at that...

How come DCTP has never gotten around to subbing these old episodes? :/

Because your typing is just as... inconveniant... as inventing a time machine! :o

After all, that's what it would take to subtitle 110+ unsubbed episodes overnight. We do our best--please bear with us~

Spoiler:
Kidding, sorry. Couldn't pass that up. :P

They've been working on other things, for example, Movie 13. Other subbers are doing other things. For example, I think 269-270 is being released soon. That's probably one of the more important unsubbed stories. It'll take awhile, but they'll be done.

sorry... just butting in...

i don't understand how many would think fansubbing is an easy task to do. i'm a timer (for variety shows of a specific Japanese boyband) and it's a really hard thing to do especially if you're juggling work/studies with fansubbing. and that's only for the timing part. what about the tasks translators, typesetters, editors and encoders do? they too have have it rough. quality fansubs takes a lot of time and consideration.

so yeah, i guess what i wanted to say is that fansubbing groups have it hard and the only thing that keeps them going is their passion for sharing and helping out non-Japanese speakers. (but what do they get, only bratty whines from the masses)

she did say 'how come', so she probably didn't know subbing anime is such a hard task, no need to be so rough on her either  :)

haha, yeah i know. i was actually referring to even more brattier whiners -- those who are really really rude. hopefully no one is like that here in dctp (because i know i've had my share of those in the jpop fandom i am in now)

hopefully i didn't offend you Pretztailfan95. ;)

Ah no, it's okay. I was actually a bit nervous because I thought I was actually offending people... ._.
I mean, it took me about an hour just to translate one line of the RAW of 709...I was doing it just for fun...but I thought it took me that long because I SUCK at Japanese. ^^; I thought it'd be easier for the DCTP to do it.

And...by inconveniant...I meant episode 255. That one has not been subbed...but 256 has. 255 is part 1 of a 2-part episode. ^^; Actually, I only heard that 256 HAS been subbed, so I'm not sure.
I've been getting better when it comes to waiting for things to come out..but if it's subbing, and an old episode has not been subbed yet while others have...I get confused about it. XD
