Actually, at this point I think Genta, Ayumi and Mitsuhiko are not annoying. But the Detective Boys without any focus on any one of them is very annoying at times.

I don't want anyone to die but if I had to choose which DB would have to "move" away it would be Ayumi. Constantly referring to herself in the third person gets annoying(in a bad attempt in trying to be cute) and makes her look like an idiot though she's an intelligent girl.

The way I see it:
Mitsuhiko- Brings in a kid's intelligence and a kid's view into the cases
Genta - Brings in a kid's humor and works well with a comedy duo with Mitsuhiko
Ayumi -........all she does is just call herself Ayumi at every opportunity and ignores poor G & M for Conan.

I actually really love these three!! I have no problems with any of them, they add to the stories! I wouldn't kill any of them... well... Dr. Agasa kinda annoys me sometimes... But still, i probably wouldn't have him taken out...

No, I mean Shinichi.  Sorry, I've gotten in the habit of calling him Shin-chan as a joke and I guess people here aren't as used to me saying it.  xD

So yes, I do mean Shinichi's dad.  I would kill him off because I think he is unnecessary to the story.  Unnecessary, but important enough to make a stir among all the other characters.  It would serve as a very nice catalyst.  Plus I find it highly irritating that his relationship to Toichi is not explained.  If Yuusaku died then there would be a very small chance of finding out about the relationship and I can be put at ease.  It'll become just another unsolvable mystery.  Of course, Conan specializes in unsolvable mysteries.  Perhaps if Yuusaku dies Conan will investigate and find out the truth because Yuusaku sure as hell isn't going to tell us.
