I'm not familiar with the volume numbers, but
Number 1:
the story arc leading up to 345 was my favorite.
Jodie-sensei, the mysterious Akai, and the whole Ai/Shiho background episodes were great,
basically episodes 300ish to 340ish were awesome because of the episodes that had to do with her.
Number 2 in my book, is the Desperate Rival Arc.
Just the fact that it was like the first major plot-arc made me love it so much. Plus, Ai as Conan is just pure win.
Number 3, is the Clash of Red and Black.
13 back to back episodes regarding plot?! Good God, it made me jizz. Plus FBI vs BO is just awesome.
Number 4, Ai's introduction.
It was the introduction of IMO the most developed character in DC, and my favorite. It was a much needed storyline to include her into the story, or else DC would have been a lot more stale.
I'm not too fond of the whole Eisuke/Rena arc, because it just couldn't grab my attention like the 345 arc...I was actually incredibly baffled that Jodie was not Vermouth. However, I definetely knew Eisuke wasn't a bad person. And I could care less about a unconscious captive BO member.
As for the Okiya arc, I still need to wait and watch more episodes. I think it's going to be interesting, because 1 - as the big Ai fan I am, anything to do with her (Bourbon hunting her down) makes me interested. Also, I'm very curious to what happened to Akai.
I don't read the manga, so if you're gonna say something regarding the new arc....use SPOILERS111!!!
