I kind of hated it. 

I already knew it would be next-to-impossible to make a good non-canon anything involving the BO.  But this... read like a bad self-insertion fanfic.  I think the only redeeming point was how they tied the DB into it.

Made Gin look like an idiot.  Had everyone that could overhear about Shinichi's secret conveniently be knocked out...  Gin-tachi could have rescued Irish instead of killing him.  Vermouth way too forthcoming about BO-related stuff, and way too friendly.  The main villain dies saving Shinichi... sigh.

Also, Haibara has too small a part.

It was pretty boring. The only good parts were first minutes of Conan's bad dream and Ran's fight with Irish.

I love how the B.O. who suppose to be all super secretive is riding around on a helicopter with a gun attached to it shooting at the main landmark of Beikai while thousands of people stare at them .  

That's just so great.

The fact that they all got pwnd by a helmet is even more beautiful.

About the movie:

To be honest, even with all those impossiblities, like Gin flying a helicopter & starts shooting Touto tower or Vermouth being so as she where etc. i kinda liked it. it tops movie 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 together.

I liked the drawings, I liked how they payed attention to Matsumoto's connection with the Beatles, the night scenes looked great, Heiji was hilarious, oh and Kazuha's face XD lol. I've rewinded that scene 10 times before I went on.  Yamamura and sango Yokomizo were cool too.

Megure with that knife attack was lame, just like the pale detective with the cane. I mean he should have been darker. >.> The case was so-so, though I didn't expect the brther-or-who to be the serial killer.

Too abd that teh next m,ovie will likely be as the ones between movie 8 and 12, although if tehy are better than movie 10, I'm already a happy DC fan.

I totally forgot this in my last post, but one of the funniest scenes in the movie to me was...
...Gin's purple phone.  ;D You see it in the car scene after Conan meets Vermouth. Who would have thought that would be his color?

See, it's like usually, when you think you know what's going to come next, and it turns out you're right, you give a(n internal) cheer.. "YEAH!  I KNEW IT!"  But with this movie, it was more like... "Yup, they did indeed do that.  Of course they did.  Sigh."

I liked the unexplained clue re: Matsumoto and Ran's greeting.  You don't have to explain everything.

I didn't get that until I put my headphones in and cranked up the volume. Earlier the DB and Agasa see a silhouette with a gun when they call the police. As Takagi and Sato burst in you can hear footsteps running away. It was surely Vermouth who was responsible for knocking him out and taping him up and exiting via window since she was in the area. I'm not sure why the knocking out was necessary, perhaps to keep Matsumoto from alerting anyone nearby what the hostage situation is like before Irish could retrieve the memory card...

I didn't get that until I put my headphones in and cranked up the volume. Earlier the DB and Agasa see a silhouette with a gun when they call the police. As Takagi and Sato burst in you can hear footsteps running away. It was surely Vermouth who was responsible for knocking him out and taping him up and exiting via window since she was in the area. I'm not sure why the knocking out was necessary, perhaps to keep Matsumoto from alerting anyone nearby what the hostage situation is like before Irish could retrieve the memory card...

So he wasn't gagged and bound before?  If he wasn't, then couldn't he have broken out of there/called for help?  The door and the window looked flimsy enough.  There was a stool there he could have used for the window...

If Vermouth was babysitting him the whole time, and only taking the tape off his mouth so she could feed him (assuming that she left his hands bound), he couldn't have sent the help messages.  You can argue that he sent all of them during the time Vermouth went out to become the hostage, but he'd have needed more bentos... and if it were me, I'd make sure he was unconscious before stepping out like that.  Big guy like him could have used the force of his body to break out of there.

If his mouth wasn't taped the entire time, but his hands were still bound, how did he use the chopsticks?  His hands were tied behind him, and he's a big enough guy that he probably wouldn't have been able to bring his hands around to the front.

If Vermouth came around every so often to bring him bento and had him unbound and ungagged (but at gunpoint) only so he could eat, it would be suspicious, wouldn't it, to have someone coming and going so often to an abandoned shack in the middle of the park?  (Which brings up the other point of what the hell is it doing there.)

It would have made much more sense if they just killed him and dumped the body somewhere. I decided that the entire movie doesn't make much sense with the whole supposedly-super-secret organization flying a MILITARY HELICOPTER in the middle of DOWNTOWN TOKYO DURING A HOLIDAY and SHOOTING UP THE BLOODY TOKYO TOWER before EXPLOSIVELY CRASHING in the middle of a PUBLIC PARK. I resolved not to over analyze the movie and take it as an exercise in action and fun and simply enjoy it for its surface appeal, contradictions be damned. It's more enjoyable that way. I'll save my in depth analysis for the manga...

Didn't Conan felt quilty for supposedly kiling Gin & co? If they wouldn't have survived the crash, which was highly possible he would be a murderer. That was not a self-defense, was it?

I haven't really watched the whole movie, just some parts of it. But I personally think the ending part is kinda lame, especially the way Conan "killed" Gin and the others  The other part that I watched was good though.
