But personelly i hope that Ai/Shiho don´t get a love relationship with Okiya or Akai but with Conan/Shinichi.

Well Akai's relationships are all kinda .  For the sake of this topic I'll explore the possibility that they had something going on before hand.

1) Haibara seems to know an awful lot about relationships.  Maybe she has gone through heartbreak/dating before? 

2) Akai said something about loving two woman at once.  We assume Jodie but....ahh I don't even want to think about it xDD.  Akai you two timing dog you xDDD.

There is also the fact that Haibara seems to get the FBI and BO mixed up a lot.  So maybe she isn't sensing Okiya as someone "special" but just one of them.  When she said it's "him" she might be saying "no question it's bourbon".

For me I hope when she and Akai meet she wouldn't recgonise him without his swishy hair.  Then when she finds out his name is Akai she'll think "OMG it's the lolicon D<"

so why does everyone think Okiya is Akai (please dont actually tell me, use spoiler tags por favor!)

As a haibara fan, as long as ai has someone who loves her i am happy, but I still think conan and ai are still the best couple, but whatever ya know.

I like you outside the box thinking but it's a stretch to work either of these two pairing into the series.

First focusing on Shiho X Okiya:
This one just has too many obstacles in it's way to be successful.

• Okiya needs to become a regular after his current role in the series.
• Time. Unless Gosho wants to make this the never ending anime, Okiya doesn't have enough time to build up the chemistry.
• Haibara's shell. It took Conan quite a while to break through it and he was saving her from exploding buses.
• Haibara is Haibara. Unless the plot makes it that she has to become Shiho for a long period of time, there isn't going to be a good chance for Okiya to build up chemistry. Flirting with a 7-9yr is bad.
  [li]Haibara would like to live as Haibara. Okiya would really have to win her over to get her to become Shiho but he needs her to become Shiho to win her over, bad loop.

I don't think there is enough series left to overcome all these points unless Gosho pulls another(AkaixJodie aka they had something going before DC started) but the Haibara fans wouldn't like that..at all.

This one is more workable and possible. I wouldn't mind if it happened but I prefer it not to. At the moment, I see Akai more in a big brother kind of role when it comes to Shiho. He has shown that he still feels a lot for Akemi and is dedicating a lot of his FBI time to try and "rescue" Shiho like her sister wanted.  Reason he doesn't want Shiho to see him isn't love related but more along the lines that he solely blames himself for Akemi's death and he has no right to approach Shiho until his plan is complete to give her the life Akemi wanted. A big scene in this series is going to be when those two finally meet, part of me believes that Shiho is going to blame him & hate him at first (similar to the Conan&Haibara scene).

I've been waiting for a hardcore fan opinion on this So you're saying all they need is time? That is easy in fiction, maybe Okiya and adult Shiho will meet in the end and we get a happily ever after. Or maybe a 1 year time lapse into the next chapter. It won't be that hard. And yeah Conan took a while to break Haibara's shell...but Conan is a bit harsh (he screamed at her the first time they met and called her a murderer...). Like they say, you might spend years hitting a rock and then only a drop of water can break it open. So maybe Shiho would show her real self easily with Okiya because he has a kinder/ softer attitude than Conan.

You know, the live action series show Shiho as an adult in many episodes, so I don't see why it won't happen soon in the manga, specially with all the action packed chapters lately.  This could give a greater chance for Okiya or Akai to meet adult Shiho.

About Shiho blaming Akai...that could happen. And it would be a good dramatic effect...but then how long will she hate him? She has matured, maybe Conan forgiving her will teach her to forgive Akai as well. Shiho is a loner, and so she can't afford losing people who care about her, like Akai.

In any case, I like to think that Shiho has many possibilties in her love life, not only Shinichi because that might make her a hopeless person in the end...I wouldn't like that.

you know what? i agree with what you said about aixokiya and aixakai! if gosho want to put one of these men with haibara ,he can do it with the time he want! the manga isn't in his end so it's possible for him to create a great relationghip with one of them, if he took the time !

besides,who said that haibara wanted to stay as a child?(movie 4 isn't canon,and she said she want it if conan stay as a child as well)!i don't think she will like to stay as a child without the only person who can understand her(she will stay  with the db,but without conan she won't enjoy it,i think)

XDDDD EXACTLY MY THINKING!!!! I wanna see Conan's reaction if Shiho/Ai ever told him she has a lover or a crush in mind XDDD LOL... but that's kinda far fetch considering this is a shonen manga... Still though, it'd be so cute to see Haibara as a grown up once again, since the Shounen Tanteidan did said Shinichi looks "stupid/silly" when they saw him, wonder what will their reaction toward Shiho would be XDD.

Actually... Considering Ai is practically living NEXT TO Okiya, it's not impossible to say they do have time to get to know each other..., since I think she'd want to investigate (she has shown more courage lately)

I don't think time is the real issue. The real issue would be introducing all the events in the plot to overcome all my points without it feeling force. This would require time but more importantly, it's dependent on if the plot can handle it. I personally don't think it can; yeah Haibara ending up alone is something the fans fear & loathe but I rather have that then a forced give away of her like a consolation prize. The proper ending I believe(not going into AixConan) would be to remain Haibara(with Agasa as Grampa Agasa) and live the childhood the B.O. took away from her and have a life Akemi died trying to give her.

@Aichan: I wasn't referring to movie 4 when I said Haibara wants to be Haibara. I was referring more to the interpretative hints given such as telling Conan she'll watch him and decided if she wants her normal body back after the final drug is complete, her comments about not having a proper childhood, her comments about being around the Detective boys, and etc.
And so no one gets confused, in movie 4 Haibara was not talking about staying Haibara but about losing her memory permanently so she could truly become a 7yr-9yr girl living a normal life.

Yeah i agree with TheBlind as well, Ai chan should definetley stay in her child form, because it's starting anew or her sister's death would be in vain...But I mean I just want ai to be with someone XD, i wanna see her blush :p  but, there definetly has to be more chemistry (more eps) if Ai and (insert akai or okiya here) were to be a true couple, it would be incredibly weird if they both just fell head over heels for each other.

I mean look at takagi and Sato,the only real couple btw because hattori and shinichi don't actually admit to anything, after like 500 eps they finally kissed!!

ok i understand now!i was thinking you're referring to movie 4 when you said that,cause it's the only time she said clearly that she wanted to lose her memory so that she could really be a child living a normal life(in a way it's like she wanted to stay as haibara)

I also hope she doesn´t stay as a child in the end. Where´s the point as having a child live again when you´re actually an adult? It´s not like you can have an wonderful childlive after a hyped up one and the one with the BO has formed her as much as this do right now. So there´s no need to do this for a living. Besides she often (as much as Conan) shows how her child lifes annoys her. she loves the DBs, Agasa and the safety as being a kid, but if she stays as one she will run away again from everything she once was.
I don´t want that to happen.

besisdes haibara seems to be a very mature and independent woman,so i don't think  she will like to be considered as a child(even DB doesn't like to be considered as children sometimes!)!
she sure want to taste her new freedom(if the bo is defeated in the end),and she can't enjoy this freedom entirely if she stay as a child!
she can grow up as Kudoand stay at agasa's house!she could even still have contact with DB (as an older sister)so she's not leaving them if she take the antidote too!
