watched Elfen Lied, because it's one of those names in anime that I remembered hearing about a lot back in high school and going back in time with anime is fun times.
Ignoring the anime's obvious intended selling points ( :V ), it wasn't that bad aside from the ending

and I came into the show expecting more of the main characters to be exploded, but surprisingly they weren't, which is sorta good. Also, I didn't like how Bantou the awesome mercenary guy got shafted the whole time and never got the chance to get in a real fight past the first episode or two.
and were the horns designed specifically to look like cat ears, and the excessive "nyu"ing really necessary? I mean really now.
