I'll spoiler this mini rant just in case someone has great hopes for the show and doesn't want this spoiler:

so the whole show's a reverse harem in which the main character constantly finds herself teleported back in time Groundhog Day style to a slightly different world, and every time she does so the world's slightly different and she apparently has a different boyfriend. The show's premise basically has her fall in love with each boyfriend within a day or two before she's shuttled off to the next world with another boyfriend. Whatever, I can accept that as a pretty bad premise.
but in the most recent bit of episodes, it seemed like she was in a relationship with Guy A (who she already had been with), which got her in bad situations with crazy girls who attacked her, causing Guy B to become overprotective of her and literally lock her in a tiny cage inside of his apartment for days on end. She eventually escapes and runs back to her apartment and finds her diary from that world which mentions how much she loves Guy B and how she was just talking with Guy A how to break the news. She realizes she loves Guy B. Guy B then comes into her apartment and basically threatens to take her by force (after commenting on various scrapes she has and saying "I don't care about your pain"[which is supposed to be tragic because he's equating it to the pain he felt when she ran away from the cage in his apartment]) and put her back in the cage, at which point she gets him to read the diary and see that she loves him and he says he loves her and they're just so happy together
her apparently forgetting the fact that the guy is literally insane and holed her up inside a cage in his apartment.
like I'm honestly baffled at it. This is obviously supposed to be marketed partially as "look at this girl who gets all these hot guys", and all the other guys are pretty obvious archetypes, but what audience is that aiming for? Who do they expect to go "oh wow I'd love to be kept in a cage forever by this guy because he's just so deamy *__*"?
shit's just weird.

I'd agree, but that would require me to remember something in the series beyond "that scene was funny" or "good music".
