Those were Gin and Vodka's code names in the Case Closed manga.  The anime didn't have those names, because Conan didn't run into in the train. How did he learn of their code names names anyway in the anime? He's just a genius.

From what I hear, Japanese people use the "L" sound interchangeably with the "R".

A fanfic broke your heart didn't it. You wanted Shinichi to end with Ran at the end of that fanfic but then Kid showed up and stole Shinichi from Ran's arms and did awful things to him and that made you angry, angry and vengeful at the world of fan fiction!

Eh I read and write fanfiction (yay horrible death).  And I can't denie that most of it is horrible with OMGBAKAKAWAII mary sues/gary stues or OOC to the nth degree.

That is true. They say that 90% of fanfic is crap, which probably cannot be denied. That's why I just stick to the good 10%. Don't let the crap prejudice you against the fact that there is some genuinely good stuff out there.

i actualy know this one there the code name of gin and vodka in the english manga before they are changed to gin and vodka it hapens eclusively in the english manga the chapther with the bomb on the express train

sorry Xcommando but he got it first. in funimations dub of conan learns the names from henji (which does kinda make sense).  I highly doubt that we are going to get her (yes her the only girl with more then 6 names) name to match up in the anime and manga (and her anime name>manga name).
