Sato/Takagi… Ran and Ai remind me too much of my annoying cat lately. I turn my back on him, and he reaches out and grabs onto my shirt (or into my skin when I haven't been keeping his claws trimmed).

Agreed, minus the cat part because I don't own a cat xD. 

Usually love interest(s) to main male character(s) are clingy and annoying unless male characters is not in the vicinity (then they actually have personality for 0.3 seconds). 

That works in the opposite way as well (Shojo manga main girl character's love interest = annoying as hell, must burn in fire). 

It's actually not that bad in DC <3, maybe it's because I read other less worthy mangas.  Yet I can't help but wonder where this epidemic of stupid came from, it's not like anyone would enjoy reading that stuff.

Satou and Takagi because they made two minor characters into really interesting characters (and the Metropoliton Police Detective Love Storys are my favorite episodes other than the Black Organization episodes)

I'm for ConanAi/ShinichiShiho 100% Though I have to admit that they most likely won't end up together. Oh well, their relationship is cute anyways whatever it is.

The way I see it, Shiho would definitely have to be paired up with someone, and Shinichi is definitely not an option. To me, it's cute [Shiho x Shinchi], but unreal. It just lacks the same passion Kudo shares with Mouri. It was a relationship based on sympathy rather than love, IMHO.

What're you guys talking about? Ai x Conan / Shiho x Shinichi is definitely a great pair! Especially Ai/Shiho being tsundere and Conan being "naive" (I don't know though, he blushed when he imagined Shiho in movie 5 - not canon ); This pair-up really spices up the love triangle, hehe

There's just this reciprocality of love between Shinichi and Ran (w/c is really strong so others have no chance of destroying it)... but they keep denying it in front of each other, so Ai/Shiho still has a chance... or most likely none

Ran's gonna die and give Ai a chance to step in, then Shinichi finds out it was Ai who killed Ran, and then it will be all like dun dun dunnn!!! and then he goes off with ayumi and ai commits suicide....

man how would tat suck as an ending? lol
